The reason behind Morrison wanting to leave West Ham:

 

Prior to this saga of him wanting to join Fulham etc there was a Training Ground bust up between Morrison (M) and Noble (N)

 

The story goes that a ball went out of play and N asked/told M to get it - M took offence and words were exchanged - it got more heated and N knocked M to the floor with a single punch

 

The players jumped in and separated them - M vowed that to FS that he wanted a transfer and in any case could not play as he has a niggling groin strain

 

M is very unpopular at WHU even Nolan who was told to keep an eye on him has washed his hands of him

 

So expect him to be sold at the end of the season

Oh well, no clean sheet but a good result nonetheless! There may have been a touch of offside with Jarvis's goal and an Olympic standard dive for the foul that led to Southamptons goal. Clearly no contact in the tackle.  Well done lads!

Great result - showed some bollocks coming back from one down - didn't expect it the way we had played up to their goal. Surprised Noble didn't get more of a mention in the press as he had Llalana (no idea on spelling) in his pocket for most of the match. Noble for England!!

 

Great atmosphere once we equalised as well - the Southampton fans got a bit of abuse as they was giving it large up to then - "Oh when the saints go three one down"

I know a Norwich loss may be better for us given the fact that we are still not out of the relegation shenanigans but it is funny seeing Tottscum lose

Been away for a few weeks and see our blip of good form in February has returned back normal

ha ha, my comment was inspired by the memory of sitting in the I-Rovers

about Xmas, watching the Hammers getting stuffed. I was with a couple  

of keen West Ham fans and while making suitably sympathetic noises

(they are really nice guys) was thinking inside "well Leeds will be playing

this lot next season."

Quite a turnaround in form - and well done BTW.

 

PS: Any chance of posting those "how to play football" annuals up to Elland Road?

Oh well a defeat to the power in world football known as Wellington Phoenix - had half an eye on the second half at at work so didn't see much but thought Zarate looked a bit sharp

 

Seeing the black armbands for the two Newcastle fans that were on the Malaysian flight puts it all into perspective though.

Watched it all, they had 2 chances in the first half and scored from both, we had 3 and did not score.

2nd half was better, especially when Zarate. Poyet, Downing, Whitehead, plus a couple of youngsters came on.

Kouyate looked a good buy. Zarate was good but tried to do to much at times.

Nolan contributed little

Noble was awful, dont think either should be thinking they are going to be definate starters next season.
