I think BM SmellyFarang should be considered for trusted status as he seems to have contributed more to the forum than some who are trusted. Rather than one liners, he has started threads and helped members out with reviews of places for example.

I have been reading another forum and have just recently discovered this great web site. I suppose I am not supposed to mention it by name. I also love to read all the wonderful information and stories on the forum but am not much of a writer. I suppose the "rule" is good for many but I don't enjoy reading unfruitful banter. I will do my best to write "good stuff" but would much rather read what the good writers put forth.

Wow! I am member number 4,000 and there are newbies that are member number 22,000. I guess many have joined after me! I finally decided to write a few posts to see what goodies are "hidden" Can't wait to see those gems!

I feel that my post warrant this status. I have been contributing in a meaningful way. I am respectful of all boardies and do not flame

and try my best not to post unless I have something positive to add to the discussion.

 

If you feel that I am still not worthy of being elevated at this time, I will respect your decision, however I would like for you to give me some suggestions

as to what I am lacking in my post or give me some direction as to what I need to do to improve getting elevated.

Hello, could I please be considered for trusted membership? This place is really good, and I'd love to have the inside info on places to go/avoid (I've already learnt a lot). I'm planning a trip and want to leave in about a month, but it will be an around the world trip so I need to start planning now. Also, I want to have as good a time as possible, and it would be great if I could get to know people who might end up being out there when I am, and have the same intentions
