Thanks I have been on that site but cannot find how to check prices or book?

There's a price chart on that page and a button that says 'book now' on it.

Click the button and it's self explanatory from there.

it's a matter of luck at immigration. i mostly land evenings. last night..............sunday...................there were 3 people ahead of me at the officer at immigration, clearly no point in going to the fast track section.

Yep your right I just kept clicking on passenger handling services rather than premium services, I still cannot (being a CC) quantify paying 850 thb to walk (unless the greeter is lazy) and get through immigration fast to wait for my luggage ( which usually has been the scenario even queuing for ages to get through immigration) then rather than find my taxi (maybe I am not really a cheap charlie?) go on a bell bus? Each to there own budget.

Thaksin's spectacularly failed government-sponsored Thailand Longstay Company has been through several reincarnations .. it survives still, but as a faint shadow of its former grandiose self, with services now limited to immigration fast-track arrivals and departures, plus retirement visa processing.

The immigration fast-tracking options alone might be worthwhile for anyone frequenting Thailand;

  1. Annual immigration fast-tracking only (unlimited for one year):
    • Package 1 - Immigration fast-track only (arriving and departing) at THB 15,000/year
    • Package 2 - Immigration fast-track, plus cart services (arriving and departing) at THB 25,000/year
  2. For THB 21,000, they procure 1-year single entry retirement visa (government fees included), do all the 90-day reporting, with the first package above.
  3. For THB 29,000, they procure 1-year multiple entry retirement visa, (government fees included), do all the 90-day reporting, with the second package above.

I know people who pay THB 10-15,000 to agents to process their multiple entry retirement visas alone (government fees included) .. for the frequent flyers amongst them, this might be worthwhile.

I'm thinking of booking a fast track service for when I land at Suvarnabhumi airport at the beginning of my next trip to Thailand. I was thinking that it might be a good way to get through immigration quickly after a long flight.

So I was wondering if anybody has ever done this and what did you think of the service

I  had never used any service like this in over 25 years of going to Thailand, that is until this trip when i decided to give it a try for the first time, and i will be using it again for all future trips, i was impressed  by the speed from the time i was met off the plane to be escorted through customs and sitting in a limo was all of 20 minutes,  mind you i had no luggage to pick up, so that cuts the waiting  time down a fair bit.

I booked the Bangkok Airport Limousine service  with fast track, the cost was for the fast track arrival 1050 baht, and the Limo to Pattaya was 1500 baht. i could have saved a few hundred baht by booking Nams taxi's, but it was just easier getting taken straight from customs to my waiting Limo...here is a link https://www.limousine.in.th/

It is up to anyone how they spend their money but to pay for fast track then go by bell bus I do find quite a fiscal contrast but for me it has always taxi straight to destination which I believe is less expensive than fast track?

I fly business class but I take the regular 120B airport bus to/from Jomtien.

That's a good deal.

I will be landing at Bangkok airport in 17 days time so in the next few days I will be booking the fast track service for the first time.  I'm doing it because after a long trip I just want to get through immigration quickly.  I'll still have to wait for my luggage which I don't mind.

I've already got a Mr T Taxi to pick me up from the airport and take me to my hotel in Pattaya

I'll be arriving at 8:30 pm Wednesday.

Not sure what the traffic is like that time of day so I have purchased the VIP fast track again.

Only taking carry-on this time, so I should be through immigration, grab a sim card and beers and be in the taxi to Pattaya in under 20 minutes.

last time at Swampy I had check-in as well, which only took about 5 to 10 minutes to appear. Musta been lucky.

Yes it certainly is a great fast way to miss out on those immigration queue's, but the 1050 baht i quoted was if you booked their limo service, but if you have booked your own taxi the price is 1200baht, still worth the price for missing the immigration lines . also that doesn't include any golf buggy rental that is an extra 1099 baht on the cost if you do not want to walk from the landing gate to immigration, personally i chose to walk. as i did not think that charge for a buggy was worth it, enjoy your trip....

Hi yozz the walking doesn't bother me so I wouldn't pay extra for the golf buggy.  Its the queue's at immigration I don't like.  And it also looks like booking my own taxi works out cheaper for me

Booking Fast track plus Limo comes to 2050 baht(1050B for fast track + 1500B for Limo)

Book Fast track plus Mr T Taxi comes to 2200 baht (1200B fast track + My T Taxi 1000B)

I used it Christmas last year but in June I decided against it.  Never again.  Even with checked luggage I’d rather relax and sit and watch the carousel go round then stand in a queue with all those stupid people again.

Any issue with the driver waiting for you when you're getting your mobile phone sim card ?

That's due to all of your training walking the sois of Pattaya on uneven sidewalks, avoiding cars, motorbikes and foodcarts and in intense heat. Walking in an air conditioned terminal is nothing.

i think the plane last night picked a gate as far away from immigration as possible. i must have used at least 5 travelators

I ended up on a damn bus from the plane to the terminal a couple of weeks back (flying Thai) ... haven't done that anywhere for years.

The planes that I'm usually on always seems to dock at the Terminal well away from Immigration BUT on one occasion my plane docked right by immigration.  Couldnt believe my luck that I had such a short walk from the plane

Even if it happens again in 16 days time it'll still be worth booking the Fast track because I'll still get through immigration quicker.  My flights always land about the same time and there are always long queues at immigration

Sometime that's not all bad.

At least when they drop you off, you are near immigrations.
