Bangkok Flight Services.

I have used their service 100s of times, never once has there been a problem. The staff that meet you as you disembark from the aircraft are invariably attractive ladies who speak good English. If booking the electric cart option the total price is 1,600 Baht, if two of you are traveling together on the same flight the price for both is 2,000 baht. They escort you to priority Immigration, then onto luggage reclaim if you have any, through customs to your waiting transportation if booked.

Agree with Cerberus. I've used BFS a few times and they've been very good.

Met at the gate by a nice young lady, whizzed through the airport on the buggy, taken through a quiet Immigration lane, helped with luggage, through customs and to my driver.

Funny how you say that !

I flew Business Class Thai airways to Bangkok , i thought i would get a priorty lane card , i didnt and when i got to the counter i had NO immigration form , this was after lining up 30 minutes ! Guess what , back to the line after giving me one , another 30 minutes !!!

I had a similar issue with Thai. They have their own immigration lanes at Swampy which means you just show your boarding card - but NO ONE ACTUALLY TELLS YOU THIS. It's not in the booking information, in the onboard literature and the staff certainly can't be bothered to tell you.

Yeah, suppose so. But you can still save a good bit of time if you walk quickly when you get off the plane

Or if you go to the second immigration checkpoint which many people don't know about.

For any Aussie with a DVA Gold card walk into the Govt Passport / Disabled line and you'll be processed there.

Unfortunately it was boarded up and closed off when I arrived in April, maybe it's been opened again.

You could be right but I swear that the BFS lady took me to the second checkpoint this trip.

Don't know, but I remember passing one immigration checkpoint and then going to another.

I use them pretty frequently, and as others have said, pretty good service for the small fee.

I never ever book luggage, so there is no waiting around... generally out the front in max 15 minutes from walking off the plane, depending on where in the airport the plane pulls in.

The last couple of times, Thai women being Thai women, and generally not having an affinity to walking  any sort of distance (bless 'em), the ladies have turned up with the electric cart without me having ordered it...

The problem with Bangkok (both airports) is that you can look at the published schedules all you like, and think "beauty, immigration will be quiet, not many flights arriving".. but those schedules won't show charters from Russia, China,or India... those things can, and do, turn up at any old time, and immigration will be swamped.

BFS, IMO, makes the experience at Swampy far more bearable, for such a small outlay..  Highly recommended.

Anyone ever booked the service for leaving the airport? Probably not worth it I'm thinking, where they take you through security or a lounge if you've paid extra for that.

I tried it once but couldn't find any BFS staff. Gave up in the end and just went through myself. No chance of refund, of course.

At the moment I am planning on booking fast track so that I can get through immigration quickly.  After a long trip from England I just want to get out of the airport and get in my taxi for Pattaya

Last few times I got off the flight I just went as fast as possible to immigration passing loads of people. Was in taxi in about 20-30mins I think

In recent years I have got into a routine

(1) Booked an aisle seat at the front of economy for my flight into BKK airport so that I can get of the plane fairly quickly

(2) Once of the plane I walk very quickly to immigration so that I am one of the first on my plane to get there

For my next flight I've already got my aisle seat at the front of economy booked but I'm a bit fed up of walking fast to immigration just to gain one or two places in the queue,  So it'll be nice to book fast track so that after a long journey I can take a more leisurely walk to immigration

Should have done a chargeback on your credit card.

In high season and depending of the time and day you are leaving, it will be worth it. I was flying out at a saturday in March using the Premium/VIP line around 7am. The normal line was insanely long.  Even the VIP Line was out into the Check In Hall and I needed over 20 min. to pass Security. I guess guess in the nomal line people needed much more then one hour.

That's been my experience as well.  It may also be a time-saving measure when several customers are arriving around the same time.  Less time spent on each customer when the golf cart is used as it can be a very long walk in some circumstances.
