I used to post a lot of food pics on the Pattaya Club but they banned me coz I stood up to Gabor! Anyway here's my contribution ; mostly Asian food coz I find there are too many pics of burgers and steaks!

Last visit at Steak & CO 2 weeks ago.

 

Starter: 3 kind of salmon

 

Main course: 400g of Wagyu ribeye

 

The starter was incredible nice!

how would you rate Akvavit's Mex food to Sam's?  I thought Sam's had the best Mex food I had found in Thailand...some of his dishes were very close to what you might get in LA.  Too bad he closed down shop, although he ("Sam") told me he may re-open in a different location at some point in the future.

sams was great, miss that place.  I understand he may come back and open on thepprasti, hope so, close to LA

 

the chef at akvit is a swede, the old chef from News Cafe if that tells you anything.   It a really nice buffet and you will like it, and pretty much Mexican, but no LA.   My buddy who lives here and travels to LA and NY often for business, if into Mexican big time, big time and liked it
