And now gridkids.

These are the Atlanta Braves Cheer leading Team

So what I hear you say.....

The Braves are owned by.......... Liberty Media. So unless they sack them all by the end of March it would seem that Liberty's 'brand values' are flexible, or they are hypocrites  :Busted:

Snow was forecast for that day and the teams had the option to drop that day and add it to the 2nd test. All it needed was a unanimous vote.......................

F1 kicks off the season in Australia this weekend.

Today's practise sessions ended with Hamilton marginally quickest.

Possibility of rain over the weekend so could be interesting race / qualifying.

What does everyone expect of this season? For me I think Hamilton will take the title probably from Vettal and one of the Red Bulls. For the constructors I really can't see anyone other than Mercedes with possibly a good scrap between Ferrari and Red Bull for second, depending on how the Renault engine goes this season. I'm going tip Mclaren for fourth spot.....a bit optimistic I know but I just have a feeling.

Anyway, regardless of the outcomes lets just hope for a season with some good racing.

Got up close and personal today with the Ferrari team and a little peak next door at Red Bull.

Here is the start time schedule

https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/headlines/2018/2/new-race-weekend-schedule-announced-for-2018.html

I think the idea is that more people are in their homes later in the afternoon. Do you guys ever look at the classic races on sky? Jees it's a real reminder of how bad F1 has become but I still watch because I love the sport. They need to get the new regulations right in 2021

Can only see them getting worse. For me the exhaust noise regs did major damage to spectator experience, everyone hated it. Ain't going to change.

The FIA seem to be promoting Formula E more and more, their vision for the future of motor racing - fuck that, I'm off!

Not sure if this will work but here’s a short vid I took yesterday at the track.

if they bring the pack closer together and make it easier to follow the car in front it should improve the sport. i can live with the sound. Years ago I use to support Jordan team, and there might be an occasion where the long shot would win a race, this simply does not happen now.

Didn't see quali live as its waaaay out of my time zone......but will make more effort to get up for the race tomorrow!

Here is the BBC link with the placings etc. Looks like Hamilton really pulled one out of the bag with his last run.

Possibility of rain for the race? If so things could get interesting.

Red Bull seem to have closed the gap with Ferrari , will be interesting to see how that pans out in the upcoming races . Verstappen a good starter and Ricci who wants a good result for his home grand prix starting from 4 and 5 will put the pressure full on Vettel and Rai .

Positively surprised with Haas , they seem to have taken the place of Force India as best of the rest .

I thought Vettel might have been able to get P1 after the round of 15 but what Lewis managed to pull out in the top 10 was amazing. Hopefully it was just a qualifying mode or otherwise he’s going to smoke the field in todays race.

I think rain would make it a great race, Daniel’s going to need it with the 3 spot grid penalty being applied.

Apparently it wasn't, who knows. He said he used all his available modes on Q2 and had nothing extra for Q3.

Well then I hope he can’t repeat it every lap or it might get a little boring.
