Have any of you been requested, or have already paid your SECOND years maintenance payment? 

For some it is already due, and nothing from Matrix as usual, no communications whatsoever.

The building manager spoke to the legal adviser of Matrix 2 or 3 weeks ago, and was told Matrix would get back to her as to who was going to manage the maintenance payments, Matrix or the building management company. 

Nothing has come out of Matrix since. Surprise surprise. 

Also still nothing regarding when the AGM will be held to vote in a committee.... 

 

Phil , do you have any pleasure living in AOTH ? Seems like you busy

every day with the ongoing 'problems' . 

 

This thread is an almost 2 year rant on Matrix already . If i would have

to live like this i would take my loss and move on . We all know it's going 

to be a never ending story .

Hey I see there selling a unit at your old place for 4 million. I think you may have gave yours away or maybe these people are just way out of line a 4m.

The new owner has a good deal for 1,99 mill . Once i priced it down to 1,99 i had 7/8 very interested potential buyers in a few days time

so probably could have sold it for a few 100k more with a bit of patience . 

 

There are houses between 2XX and 10 mill on the Meadows so probably a bigger one with an extra bedroom or so ... but good luck

selling that for 4 mill .

The place is running ok now. Most of the problems seem to have been fixed, of course it's still quite early. Now the issue seems to be again Matrix lack of ANY communication with the tenants

Sounds good jerry I'd like to here about it.. hope your not selling out again and movie to Cambodia or something silly like that.. went there last month for a week, visa run and as far as pp or siem reap goes you can have it.. I hated it there and it really makes me question the people on here posting g about how great it is there.. maybe snook is better I don't no but pp, no thanks...what a... sh..hole

Back for a short stay, 10 days. Place is going ok, no dramas. However, would be nice see some progress on a few things. Looks like Matrix is using the coffee shop as a storage area. As coffee shop not viable, why not set up as a place to use wi fi with couches, and a coin operated coffee machine. In the basement car park, were all the trash is, it would be good to have a coin operated washing machine and dryer. The roof top was finished off half arsed. It wouldn't take too much money to improve it. I can't understand matrix, If I owned the company I would have these things fixed in 2 weeks, and if wouldn't cost much money, where is the pride in their work. Your finished product is your best advertisement.

I have been repeatedly assured by Nueng that everything will be completed before the promotion finishes (april 30th) and naturally I have heard nothing!

No response to my messages! getting completely blanked out! and still no chanote!

I think i have been bumped.

I got the chanot 3-4 weeks ago, was in her office to sign the papers on a Thursday and went back to pickup chanot and house book on Saturday.

 

Didn't spend more than 10 minutes in her office all together

yeah, went into office January and signed everything, she told me 2 weeks but i had to fly home for work. since then i been getting blagged off. `it's because they owe me compensation. looks like I'm not getting the land office promotion now. sneaky fucks!

seems to be a heavy amount of sales in AOTH aswell , sad to se / hear people in trouble due to clown agencies and builders .

A very dodgy phishing email from Matrix!!

 

I am currently expecting my annual invoice for management fees so i didn't think twice when i received an email from Matrix with "invoice" in the subject field. The content of the email prompted me to log into google docs to view the invoice. Stupidly i did this and inadvertently gave my google password to hackers. They wasted no time accessing my account (traced back to london). I guess i am lucky as all my passwords for my accounts are different but these days a google password can be used to access just about any other account (great internet security, not). 

 

Anyway, i was swiftly alerted by google of this log in and promptly changed my password.

 

If you receive an email from [email protected] (full name - philipp siriphat) please be very careful. 

 

Quite how the hackers knew my invoice was due from matrix is still perplexing me. Either Matrix has had their accounts hacked and the perpetrators have some/ all of our personal information or dare i say it.... (they do owe me a lot of money)  

 

I will be reporting the incident to google for further investigation and i have an IT specialist buddy looking into the IP address for a trace.

 

But please everyone be careful.

I received a similar e-mail but from Raz Shai. I am fairly sure that Matrix' mail server was hacked.

 

This type of scam is fairly widespread and I have seen it many times before for other websites. Also received such mail from friends whose mail had been hacked. They send you a link to a fake page which looks the same as the original and ask for your credentials. Make a habit of always checking the web address as soon as you are asked to enter your login and password. It is impossible to mask the webpage address in modern browsers. If you see its something other than the real webpage address - close this scam.

 

I wonder if people at Matrix are aware of this problem.

Sounds like an AOTH buyer is desperate to unload his sales contract/unit at a very deep discount. I looked at the referenced brokers site and there is a foreign quota 1 bedroom unit listed for ฿1.6 M. I think whoever bites on this offer will be the big loser and the seller will be the big winner (even with the huge loss on his "investment").

 

Vermut12, if you paid the ฿2.2 a few years ago for your AOTH unit, you could have bought a GCR unit for the same price at that time with a few minor extra facilities (lol) and depending on which building, be receiving your keys and chanote in the next month or two.

 

What's the story with this development, seems to be overdue like all the other projects in Pattaya.

The Siam Oriental unit is being sold by a Russian and due to their currency appreciation she is probably still gonna make money on this unit IF she can sell it so maybe a good unit for someone.
