For this weeks selection I have chose the 2-05 at York and the horse is called CHRISTOFORO COLOMBO, its a bit shorter price than I usually go for but I think this should win, if it doesn't win this race send it to Blackpool Beach for the donkey derby.

You like to get them in early Meaty,  Maybe you should wait till the morning of the race as weather and the going can change dramatically over night at this time of year.

I have to agree with Meaty here Stevie,but for different reasons. By selecting the night before i'll not be influenced by the early morning tipsters such as Tom Segal and Nick Robson, who both can be very persuasive, plus it also gives me time to have a thorough check on our BMs selection. Anyway, my selection tomorrow is VAN PERCY, so I hope he can score (wished I hadn't put that now, lol) On his previous outing at Goodwood, initially, he ran wide, was keen and was pulling for a full 4 furlongs before settling, so actually did well to finish 4th behind Pethers Moon with the favourite Bold Sniper way back in 7th. Today could be his day if he settles early....best of luck guys 12/1 at present. 2.40 York

p.s. I may add, there's nothing worse than seeing your pick, that you haven't backed yet, being the selection of Pricewise or Hugh Taylor later in the morning, because it becomes so very difficult to get the original price you wanted. If I miss the price, I usually don't bet.

That Educate is running at Goodwood 3.30,   looks tougher today, 2f shorter trip too. All it's wins (5) have been between 8 and 10 furlongs,  1m today.  It has won on soft, heavy, good and good to firm so seems completely versatile.  10/1,  i'm tempted.

Glen Moss is running there too 2.55

 

 

Right lads i'm off to work, Racing Post in hand,  be home about mid day with (hopefully) a winner picked out

Hi guys

back on track now!!!  had a few busy weeks so here goes my fancy for today is PARBOLD 3.15 York. this looks a wide open race and the rest of the runners seem to have been doing there racing on a faster surface and this horse as only three runs under is belt so you could say is still open to improvement. Richard Fahey and Tony Hamilton are no strangers to winners at York
