Looking forward to incorporating this place into my mix of eating establishments, beginning in just under two weeks when I arrive.

Thanks to the OP for creating this thread, and to both him and the others who`ve kept it updated so that it`s current.

Peace,

TM

Not necessary mate. Pork is just as good

No argument here.

I can vaguely remember the first souvlaki I ever had in I think it was Constitution Square in Athens - then developed a real taste for them on Crete.

Returned to Melbourne and initially the gyros was always lamb. Later extended the range to chicken.

What I wouldn't give now for a souva from Lamb's in Lygon Street -- :GoldenSmile1:

I tried the mixed grill and that is a lot of meat. A huge Pork steak, 2 beef burger type things, and skewers of chicken with fries and a small salad. I could barely eat half.

Thanks for the heads-up but maybe they could open a second place at the Darkside, at least they would have me as a regular customer then :)

I'm not completely sure, but they were open at 4:30 when I passed by yesterday. I think they open about that time--maybe at 3 or 4. I'm not sure when they close, but I'm sure it's past my bedtime. :)

Occasionally they have personnel problems too--I think it's just one girl who works for them so if she's sick or something...

I'll have a chat with one of the owners next time I pass--they're both very nice guys.

The girl who works for them is the owner's wife. They do seem to have sporadic hours, and maybe just open when they feel like?

I don't think it's the owner's wife, but I do think the girl who works there is the reason their opening times (and sometimes whether they open at all) are inconsistent.

Greek Style All the Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not open again yet--the sign saying they'll open again in October is still there last I checked. I'll look for Pattaya photo guide to try to make a link, but I think the directions in the thread are pretty clear if you live here.

If Hole says it's good it must be worth a try, but I can't figure where it is either.

I must have led a sheltered Soi Buakhao life because my brain won't tell me which is Soi PP massage?

Sorry - just seen the Google map up there.

Maybe my girlfriend just assumed she was when she picked up the food and spoke with them then.

Awesome place I have eaten here a few times..The chicken souvlaki on a pita - holy smokes, I have atleast 2 each time i pass it. And its so cheap the quality of the food is top notch! Definitely gets 2 thumbs up from me (and I'm a fussy guy when it comes to food.)

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction - "it was just the internet.." is not an excuse.

Finally got to the Acropolis souvlaki stand tonight and it gets a big thumbs up - will be a bigger report on it in Pattaya Ex-Pats>332 Days as an expat thread.

Here's a few pics of the stand and the culprits eating -- me had pork and half a burger (both souvlakis) and some cheeps.

I had the pork souvlaki last night for 70Baht, it was by far the best I have had in Thailand, the street kebabs you see everyhwere are no where near this good. I will be a regular, working my way through the menu, these guys make great food and cheap as well.
