All External drives need power! 3x3tb drives would be 26,970 + 1,800 p+p if posted separately 3,600 p+p

I have posted up to 5 drives in one shipment and never had a problem with customs in Australia...

If you wanted 3x2tb it would be 20,550Baht P+P the same as above..

thank you for the reply. actually all external drives dont need power. the portable ones get there power through the same cable that the data is sent through from the computer eg one cable. some other external drives have 2 cables, one for data transfere from the computer and the other from the power socket. thats what i was really trying to ask. are the 1 or 2 connecting cables. no big deal for me. ok thanks i will make my selection and send u a personal message.many thanks

2½" drives (AKA laptop hard drives) draw power from the computer. The larger 3½" drives (the ones normally found in desk top computers) need an independent power source.

Met up with Mr TTT last week in Patts. I emailed him in advance and he popped around to my hotel and showed me how to link the hard drive to my laptop. I bought the TV series from him (Underbelly/24/breaking bad etc)....hundredish series for 6,500THB.

 

Now I am back in the Issan boonies I am watching high quality movies at a fraction of I-tunes cost.

 

I would unreservedly recommend TTT's products and customer service...indeed I will be buying another one in Jan.
