Pattaya transformation. Beautiful and interesting picture probably taken from the roof of the Intimate hotel, soi 14. The Edge will be 108m high, so at about the same level of the Base (South Tower). This means a lot of apartments of the Base will remain in the shadow most of the time (for some of them : always), with view or without view. It's interesting to see the dimensions, the design and the function of all the buildings in this picture. Most of them are hotels, condo + Central Festival. 

On the left, 2nd Road, Tipp Plaza (green roof, restaurants). Soi 10 with Page 10 (hotel) and the Rinrada Clinic.

On the same line, at the center, soi Honey (soi 11) : from left to right, Bay Breeze (white), The Scenery (grey), a part of the old Sawasdee Sunshine (white) and behind, a part of the Intown Holiday (white).

On the background, from left to right : the huge View Talay 6 Condominium (VT6), Central Festival, further, the Centric Sea Condo (grey tower). On the right of the crane, the Golden Beach hotel (white and yellow).

At the foreground, soi Diana (soi 13), the Edge. On the right the Base Central Pattaya and a small part of LK Residence (yellow). On the opposite side of soi Diana, there is Kiss Food at the corner, the Central Shopping Arcade and a beer bar complex. In some years, I think there will be probably another condo or hotel at this place.

now above the level of lk residence. work will stop over the new year period as constructions sites across town give the workers a break

yep. the view from the south confirms lk residence (the beige/brown building) is soon to be dwarfed

Also today, from yet another angle. It seems to me that the ceilings are much taller than in the Base next door, but I haven’t been able to find any info online about the tall ceilings. They appear to be about twice as tall as the workers, which would put them at about 10 or 11 feet tall. If this is true, this is going to be one hell of a tall building at 31 stories.

Unsure, but 3 metres by floor is rather standard if you want a ceiling height of 2.50 m in each apartment.

You would be well pissed if you have purchased 1 of these apartments.

A developer in most countries would not be allowed to just build another condo building right in front of a previous development blocking views and seriously devaluing the previous development  especially being the same developer TIT

Good guess...they're from the Evergreen building at Areca Lodge. 5th floor overlooking the pool. And the noise from the construction is so loud that it’s nerve wracking even this far away. SO glad that I'm not at LK Residence.

they build wuhan hospitals faster but it's come on at a fair pace in 12 months

and while in the area i took this one of the mike shopping mall hotel development which has taken ages to reach this stage

This is pretty much how the developers build in China, from the inside out, in phases (with a few years in between phases).  After the builders have sold the phase 1 condos (or handed them over to agencies to sell), they don't give a fuck that phase 2 buildings will block the view of the earlier ones.

Starts at 3.99 million baht, which means 4 million. That's for the cheapest unit. Which would be what? A cramped studio with the worst view and location?
