Why should we be expecting to be duking it out with the top boys in semis and finals..we don't ever expect that to be the case...only an arrogant asshat would say something like that, which we never do...we expect, and usually get, far worse. Just because the premier league spends millions on buying in quality foreign players...how does that equate to a top England side? More likely the reverse is true..we don't have minimum homegrown player rules in the premier league, unlike most other top leagues. Because the amount of money wasted in the EPL if put to better use would provide you with a World class side

Eh nigeria actually had the youngest squad at the WC France and England then have the youngest. France made it to the Final what Englands excuse.......oh yeah they are shit. They might of been the best team for the first hour and maybe if that ball greedy mong kane had passed it they could of gone 2 up. But croatia dominated and looked the better team after 60 mins until the final whistle and deserved to go through. As for your group not exactly the toughest was it apart from Belgium. The English are good sports. The saying may the best man win, or in this case, may the best team win, is what the English are brought up on. If you play your best and still end up taking a loss then that was a good game, one to Learn  from and be proud off.

Anyways it's fun to tease a little but at this point the only fans that can really tease the English fans are the French and Croat and maybe the Belgians. Other wise the English played their hearts out and left it all on the field. Better luck next time.
