Many thanks

Hi, sorry just noticed the question. Yes at the moment only the deluxe. At a future date will be adding more to all the rooms, but it may have to wait till after the high season.

We'll see.

But can assure you, all of the rooms are great. ;)

had the pleasure of staying 5 nights at hideway guesthouse. during the rainy promotion(great deal)
ANDY is a jovial host ,always smiling and helpful loves playing pool smile emoticon.his GF is the same too, during my stay whenever she confronted me she used to ask if all is ok and if im enjoying my stay as she wanted her guests to be comfortable and happy.
i liked the way she greeted me in the traditional thai style with the wai etc which now is really missing in pattaya with hosts.
rooms are very spacious, good bed(im a bit fussy in that )cleaned everyday and they also provide tea, coffee, sugar sachets for use and its refilled every day(.just missed a microwave)
down there is a bar that is open till late and has a pool table and ample of seatings.(loved the red lamps andy). and mainly have a separate entrance to the rooms.
overall enjoyed my stay in HIDEAWAY GUEST HOUSE.

will i recommend and return ???? 100% HELL YEAH!

I stayed at the Hideaway for a few nights last week. I thought it was excellent. Rooms are as good as a decent hotel, but much bigger. And Andy is a great hoste. Highly recommended.

Hi all.

After some years of coming down, I realised what was missing in Pattaya.

Another Guesthouse !!!!   555

Seriously, we recently opened, and are doing a steady trade with the rooms. Many one night guests staying on and on......

The bar is starting slowly, I don't want to run before I walk, as staffing is not so easy, and I am happy to build up some regular customers who like the place for its merits.

I won't bore you any farther, but please check out the website  http://www.pattayaguesthouse-hideaway.com

And maybe even "Like" our FB page... https://www.facebook.com/hideawaythailand?fref=ts

Thanks.

Will be happy to reply to questions on the thread, or in PMs and even e-mails.....  [email protected]

Edited for incorrect FB link.

Cheers,

Andy and Phron  (Paula)

good luck personally i think you are a bit pricey for your rooms

good luck personally i think you are a bit pricey for your rooms

i stay in a condo now but since 1988 i have seen more than my fair share of hotel and guest house rooms.

the one i saw was bigger than usual and really nicely done.

in life you get what you pay for and in the total cost of a trip to LOS the difference in expense between staying somewhere that is ok and somewhere very good over a couple of weeks is negligable

The rooms do look very nice, was very tempted on my last visit to see if he had a spare place as a walk in customer, but got diverted (as you do) and ended up at a place with a pool, which I actually used this time around.

Looking at striderman's pictures reminded me of a very minor pet irk of mine as it applies to all establishments that provide the kettle and complimentary coffee and tea.

The very minor irk is that all such establishments that I have come across provide 2 tea, 2 coffee 2 milk powder and 2 sugar per day. now i like a coffee in the morning with 2 sugar, so after i have drank that i now have no more sugar for any other beverages, so i pop into the 7/11 for a small box of sugar cubes (which sits on the desk) each and every time.

perhaps you could ask porky if he could ever so kindly include a few extra packets of sugar for your morning tea?

And I could be wrong in saying this, but I think Mr Porky would be quite happy to fulfill your Desire!

Of course I would.

Would hate to think of one of my guests lashing out on a small box of sugar cubes      . :GoldenSmile1:

Ha, as i say, a very minor irk with all establishments, it just defies my sense of logic to have 4 beverages and only 2 sugar sachets (the average Joe has 2 sugars per cup of coffee or 1 in tea), plus i always go out intending at some point to get extra sugar from a 7/11 to bring back then completely forget until i Desire a cuppa, often just after a shower in the morning before housekeeping have been around to replenish them.
