I hear that the OP accepted a bribe from MacDonald's not to post here anymore.  :GoldenSmile1:

Never needed the fries with a Gary burger, as the brilliant picture shows its a good meal all on it own, only two weeks and I will be trying another one.

The cable grill in Jomtien. Spectacular burgers.

Its located just at the start of Jomtien Beachroad. Very tiny little place, yet they make that up by serious quality!

Can not remember what i payed for a burger there but could never have been that much since else i would have remembered. :)

Can really recommend this place.

I hope i can taste a skeeter burger on my next trip. Only hear great stuff about his burgers aswell. But as for now. The cable grill is my absolute favorite.

There's a famous burger joint in San Francisco called Joe's Cable Car. Looks just like this place, except a lot bigger.

The secret to the Gazza Burger is to let it cool down!

Ah so they glue together better and are easier to hold. A fine idea.  :Think1:

Whoever is telling the Gary Burger lady that the burgers are too big, please stop. Porn (the burger lady) is getting a complex about it.

I don't know who sells the best burger in town.

Eating one of these things the other day, something occurred to me.

The problem with all these burgers is the bloody awful bread bun.

Soggy, sweet, zero fibre, zero taste white bread.

All with the mandatory decoration of sesame seeds on top.

What they should be using is toasted brown / wholemeal / multi-seed buns.

It would improve the experience no end.

You should also get choice of condiment - not everything drenched in ketchup.

My own choice would be mustard. **

Anyone know where I can get a burger to my specification??

** Strong English type, not the yellow mayo that the Americans use.

  • 2 weeks later...

I wish more places gave the option of beetroot as it is essential on a burger and also great for sex as it has a load of zinc in it

Beets. On a burger? Really? Those funky purple things?

Up to you bro if you like them, but I'd be pretty sad to find some of that funk in my burger.

After the articles in the UK papers today saying that fats are better for you than carbs, a Gary burger looks more attractive than ever ... Drool ...

I fear there is even less chance of you finding your beetroot burger

than for me to find one made with decent bread.

Still, I sympathise with your quest for zinc.

Here are some alternative sources:

beef (yes, zinc is already in your burger)

oysters & crab

spinach

cashew nuts

chocolate (mmmmmmm....)

mung beans

mushrooms

zinc - carbon batteries

Why is there nowhere that makes burgers to order?

Is that an impossible dream?

Subway does it for sandwiches.

Maybe I've stumbled on a business idea for someone......

London.

Also my kitchen in UK - I made one yesterday.

Standard supermarket "granery" bun and frozen beef patty.

The bun was toasted per my spec.

Dressing (horseradish) was applied under the beef,

so as not to make the salad on top soggy.

Salad just treated with salt and black pepper.

Result - burger perfection :)

That was the first ever burger in bun I've made. It's really not difficult.

Why can't McDonald, Burger King etc make a decent product??

Would have to give this one to Carl's Jnr in Central Festival. Went there twice a fortnight ago and now will not go into McD's when in Patts again (never did much when sober anyhow).

You can log out anytime you like but you can never leave.

Had an Oz-Burger in Jomtien (back of the Rhompo Beer Bar complex).

Good effort.

Soft fresh bun, sautéed onion, cheese, lettuce & decent beef. Just the way I like em.

Much better that the Cable Car Burger I judge.

Still, the Marriott makes the best in town. ..and you PAY for it. Worth it.

It's on the third floor. But it is the unit right at the front of the Beach road frontage on that floor (to the right looking towards beach road) and not clearly evident except when you walk right pass it (sounds obvious but at a distance not so clear its there).
