Evel Penevel wrote on  FB group that when the US Army was stationed in Australia during the second and there was much tension between the two, that the Aussies put beetroot and pineapple on the burger to piss the Americans off.

Sounds believable. Thanks.

Hi, my favourite Burger comes with a story. The lovely lady, Porn runs the small stand  and my friends and I have named it The Ladyboy Burger Stand, because Ladyboys solicit in the area and often perch on her stools.

Looks awesome. Will try try next time i'm in Patts.

I quite like Mama's Burgers located out the front of The Nature View hotel on Soi Buakow.

Kind of reminds me when i took a tg for delicious chicken green curry at the food court in central festival basement. Lost for words she used google translate to express her sentiments .. 'Unpalatable'

We will never agree as everybody's tastes are different. The overall objective of threads like these it for Bm's to learn where is good. I just had a bacon cheese burger in Tigglebitties last night and was the best burger i have had in Thailand, a close second would be Just Burgers on Jomtien Beach rd between soi 8 and 9

Hippopotamus Grill, Central Festival 6th floor.

Had the bacon burger with fries. Came with a small side of veggies, and a piece of bread.

Really tasty burger, well done, juicy and flavorful meat. Fries were good if unspectacular.

Great views of the city.

Hippopotamus Grill has the weirdest side served with a burger.....this place seems like a high end place and I guess burger is in 400-500 baht price range

It a French franchise steak house, serving Australian beef is the best way to discribe it.

I don't remember price but it was around 400 baht I think.

Damned good burger though in my opinion, best I've had so far. Though I don't really eat burgers much in Thailand/Pattaya.

I didn't care for the veggies much.

Is Hippopotamus Grill a new place? Can't remember it from previous trips. Carl's Juniors has my favourite burgers in pats.
