Thanks,

calpete,

So many of the cheaper hotels have a fast connection. although the reliability of this connection would be my concern.

Majestic Suites, Darjelling hotel, Citi Chic, Aspen Suites, Town Lodge, and others.

I'm meeting a girl for 2 nights, Dec 13 and 14 in Bangkok. I'll be with her the whole time, so I won't be mongering. What is a good hotel to stay at for around 3000 baht and under. I would like something close to touristy stuff we can do during the day. I'm currently looking at the Hilton Millenium that is a little pricey though.... like 4500 baht.

Amari Boulevard is a 50/50 hotel. Some guys say its not guest friendly, some say it is. Up to security and hotel staff whether they enforce or not.

Citi Chic is a relaxed guest friendly hotel. Much better.

Was surprized to read your post on Citi Chic, that the rooms were small. 35sqm is a decent size for a Sukhumvit road hotel. Amari Boulevard rooms would be 28 sqm. Quite a bit smaller.

Been hearing good things about Legacy Suites and Admiral Premier Suites recently from customers.

At Legacy basic Studio rooms are 39 sqm, so they are a nice size.

or the FUSION SUITES http://www.fusionbangkok.com/

also a great place to stay is the PARK PLAZA SUK

Tim,

How you doing, saw MIKELFC post here, is Fusion a TG Friendly hotel?

Options for Bangkok for deals in September?

Also, information that I would like to see is :

1) August Suites in Pats are there any deals for September 15-19th?

2) Would PBR be a better option in terms of price? (looking at 1500-2300baht per night)

3) Can you provied me with options? Modern close to the action, girl friendly.

Thanks,

Trivex81,

Fusion Suites say they r guest friendly. Looking at their prices and room sizes, I think its a rip off. Nice place no doubt about that. Just think their pricing is out of line with other equally nice places.

Citi Chic for example 2000 Baht per night inc ABF and 35 sqm room. Includes free internet and a small breakfast. Or Admiral Premier. Similar price with 38 sqm rooms and a nice swimming pool.

For Pattaya, August Suites has a very good reputation and Pattaya Bay also fine, but heard the walls are thin. August Suites 1 level higher.

If you want to spend over 2000 Baht per night, Amari Nova ( rooms quite small though) has some nice prices on Room Only and Lk Renaissance and Lk Metropole certainly have value for money given the size of the rooms.

Lk Royal have limited deals on their 1 bedroom suites as well.

Cheers

Hi Tim,

hope you are well mate.

What rates do you have for Royal Ivory hotel http://www.royalivory.com/ ?

I will be staying 7 nights (4 nights end of Feb 2010, then at the end of my holiday, 3 nights mid March 2010).

Do you know this hotel at all and if its any good/joiner fees etc?

Cheers
