So any suggestion please let me know (and yes I will do one on The Irish Rover, so please stop bring it up to get your post count up).

Cheers

You wont need to eat for rest of the day after Irish rovers bad boy brekkie!!

As you had a couple of shit ones in last few days i'd recommend you try Jimmy macs (soi6), and if you want to venture to Caddy shack (great bubble and squeek) or Punch and Judy on theprasit soi8 (they are opposite each other) both of a top draw standard IMO.

Happy eating

Good german fare can be found on naglua soi 18, heidelburg (i think its called, yellow sign?) not cheap but tasty.

Bon cafe on naglua rd also do a decent effort for euro breakfast.

Hi the best breafast for quality and price imo is jollys in soi bakou just down from the open food market first class...

I like Irish Rovers on Soi LK Metro, good value for money. 100baht for the big breakfast. Comes with sausages, eggs, baked beans, baked tomato & potato's,mushrooms, toast, tea or coffee and juice.

18 coins on soi Buachao is good also does a similar brekkie for 150 baht.

You must be F--king joking. If you want shit service 18 coins has it and thats about all.

Well done Nixonbest, a very good thread. I must say I think it was unfair that you judged the Loaf cafe on an omlette instead of a full brekkie like the others. I personally thought that omlette looked delicious and I plan to sample one maybe tomorrow. Again good job.

Jim.

Looks decent. Will have to try. Great selection of good and cheap euro bread and meats at that supermarket on the dolphin roundabout if you ever fancy making your own.

Bert's used to be the best but they changed the sausage and it went downhill a little in the last year. The Ritz is now the best in town in my opinion, however, The Golf Club on L.K. metro is pretty good for a fry-up and they have an extensive breakfast menu. Goose's on 2nd road is decent, but they are training a new chef recently and the last time I went in the full English was a disappointment.

great thread. am going slightly off topic here, but on my last trip to thailand, i could hardly find a decent coffee anywhere! i am a bit of a coffee snob. near the end of my trip while shopping at mo chit market in bkk, i came across a little stall that served brilliant cappucino's and latte's. they were as good as anything i can get in melbourne. was wondering if there is anywhere in pattaya that serves great coffee.

If you don't mind the baht bus ride to Jomtien and back try Rich Man Poor Man on Soi 9 Beach Rd. EGGSCELLENT! I especially like the Jum Mc Muffin (Jum is the roly poly cheeerful cook) and the Da Omelette. Great food all around the menu, daily specials, congenial staff and atmosphere. And cooked to order there means just that.
