Looking at the timeline then, yes. Looks like he moved down here.

This place opened late November/early December last year.

The old place is still there with same name, but I guess different owner? It’s further down than the bus station on the corner near the old Pig & Whistle. I don’t think I saw a single customer whenever I went past it in December/January.

Patrick's has great potatoes, and the steak is pretty good. Plus I'm just simply in love with the tall young manager. She served me one night and I was speechless! Somehow always nervous around her, the only TG that ever made me that nervous.

Just had this. Not quite as good as my mother's version (which is an impossible standard). But pretty fucking tasty. Thanks for bringing it to attention. Usually prefer Beefeaters. So might've never known.

I only tried Patrick's because Beefeaters was packed one night BC. I ended up alternating each time I wanted steak. Both in my top 3 places for GOOD food, with #1 being Casa Pascal.

If you mean of Playa Bistro then I’ve not seen much about it. Been open just over a year, looks a bit ‘with it’ for my taste  and a bit on the expensive side, but not ridiculous given its apparent intended market. Though some things look very expensive. It looks as if it’s an open design with fans rather than enclosed with aircon, but that’s just from pics on FB.

Thanks, Bramburi is one of the most underrated restaurants in the Pattaya area in my opinion. The schnitzels are very good but for me their Sunday morning breakfast buffet is one of the best in the city...

I think this is located in Jomtien Beach Condos building S1. It used to be on Jomtien Soi 7. The FB page is bloody useless though and doesn’t give location.

Edit: confirmed that they have moved back to Soi 7, opposite Thip Condotel.
