Muscle is more dense than fat: 1.06 kg/liter vs .9 kg/liter. So with equal masses of each,

the mass of muscle is only 84% the volume of the same mass of fat.

density = mass/volume

185 cm and 90 kg working on getting back < 85 kg (normal weight) before my next trip in Novemer / December starting @ 100 kg (overweight) few month ago

- no alcohol only water, coffeé and tea without sugar

- no pastery, cookies etc.

- no bread

- no sweets

- reduced amount of pasta and rice

- smaller portions 5 time a day with a minimum of 3 hours between them

- a lot of vegetables and fruits

- gym 3x week with personal trainer

- pool 1x week

-10 kg lost with an average of 0,5 kg / week

- 5-10 kg more to go as my final goal is 80 kg so halfway now

Takes a change of eating habbits rather than a diet and should be for the long run!

However looking forward to my first cold beer when back in Pat :-)

The importance of understanding the difference between a "diet" and a "change of eating habits" has been the hardest thing for me to get in my head. Now that I have, I think, figured that out I hope to be able to maintain a healthy weight.

Good luck!!
