Mr T Taxi - Problems?

If it was me i'd get out the day before, are the Bell buses running ?

There has been an announcement on the Bell Bus web site for some time now that they will not do hotel pickup and drop off in Pattaya on the 19th.

 

He was full when i sent him a a booking request for next week.

 

Booked P.T Taxi instead and gave me quick answer, will do a report when i will be back.

1000 baht all inclusive.

 

I've been using PT Taxi for years ever since Mr. T once ran short of cars/drivers a few years ago. Proabably used them at least 15-20 times.The worst thing that ever happen to me was the driver was about 10 minutes late once because there was no line at immigration and my checked bag showed up very fast. I called the PT phone number, he called the driver and the driver called me and said he would be there in a few minutes. IMO opinion there is pretty much zero difference between the two services except PT has always had a car available for me. YMMV and all that stuff...

Sure P.T Taxi has a good reputation, that's why i booked with them.

 

No problem if i wait 5 or 10 minutes.

Hello board.

I used Mr T last year with no problems and a great service so was a little worried with this thread and problems stated.

I emailed him about an hour ago with my flight details and just got an email confirmation already.

Still 1000 Baht too so Im still very impressed.

Went back end of April ..on time reliable safe.

No complaints from me, always a decent car and driver and they have always arrived 10 -15 min. early.

6AM pickup from my condo to airport, arrived 5 minutes early and called my mobile to say he had arrived. Car a newish Honda City, driver a bit fast but reasonably safe. Overall good service, used many times.

Mr T must be all sorted as i just got a reply back within the hour for after requesting an early June pickup.

Have been using Mr. T for 4 years now; service can get "iffy" at times, so just factor it in when using him.<br />Still OK service overall.<br />

That was always on the card, the scanned one doing the rounds on PA anyway.

 

Used the service twice this trip, all very professional and on time.

Have been utilizing Mr T's services for over 3 years now.

Responds to emails quickly.

Have had times when his driver was late at Swampy.

Normally get to hotel pick ups are early...up to 30 mins early.

In March, had a really CRAZY driver from BKK to Patts....

...was far from impressed....won't go into details...except to say the driver

Was speeding like a psycho.....changing lanes and driving dangerously....he spoke little English

yet was keen to make 2 petrol stops!!!......suggesting I might want to use bathroom.....strange!!

In April, had another driver from Patts to Swampy....with my GF...

This guy was also a looney driver...dangerous and fast....UNSAFE...

I asked him to take it easy...140kms in traffic is not Smart, not relaxing...

He acted dumb....asked TG to speak with him in Thai...no different.

Driver 1......was he hoping to drive off with my 'assets'....??? I was alone not with my TG.

Driver 2......was just busy...perhaps a shortage of drivers??? Who knows.

 

Thought about contacting Mr T....but don't fancy some vindictive driver taking revenge on some later trip.

Just booked my June trip, they got back to me within 12 hours...

1000 to Patts

900 back...

 

 

Both P.T. and Mr. T subcontract out to local drivers...

Mr T has let me down twice now so he can go fly his kite. Its not as if there is a shortage of them.

Never had a problem with Mr T but on my last trip I wanted to sit in the back. I was looking for the seat belt buckle when the driver said "dont have in back have to sit front". As it was only me it wasnt a problem, thats my only gripe.

I have had no problems with them the last couple of times I have used them and am afraid that this thread is giving them a bad name. 

All business have their hick-ups from time to time and I'm sure that was just the case then I posted this thread.

I'm sure that my business is one of the top taxi service in Pattaya.

more than 30,000 customer a year (only a few if know that over millions came to Pattaya every year)

I know it can't be all 100% work

Herewith a public apology for my recent screw up re' a pick up from DMK.

Air Asia recently cancelled the early return from PNH (Cambodia) and shunted us onto the late one.

I'm not sure whether I gave Mr T the wrong itinerary or whether it happened after I booked and I forgot.

Either way, when I switched on my Thai SIM at 6.15pm when we landed, I had 2 missed calls from that morning.

Sincere apologies.

Sometimes it's the customer who fcuks up.

 

Now, the question is whether I dare go in the office and book again.
