Hi,

Could anyone advise if they had Christmas Dinner at either Caddyshack or Hideaway last year as at the moment these are the 2 most appealing to me.

Thanks.

Hi everyone. Im travelling solo over Christmas for the first time. Where's the best place for a Christmas Dinner for a lone ranger? Don't want to be the only one sat on my own like a spare part 😁

I was in the same boat. I ended up booking the 3:30pm sitting in Nicky's on Buakhao. Would be happy to have company.

The Hideaway have a ‘single diners table’ for anyone on their own to sit together.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if Christmas dinner has been as hotly booked as in previous years?  Ten years ago, you would have to have booked by the first week in December to get a seat at the most popular restaurants.  But by 2019, demand had fallen off to some degree.  Whether that was due to fewer farang in town or more restaurants offering Christmas meals, I don't know.

Anyway, my favorite was Starz Diner at the Hard Rock Cafe.

In terms of the quality and variety of food and the entertainment, it was great value for money.  I can no longer do justice to huge buffets, but Thai girls, and especially Thai children, will absolutely love it.  Starz is also big enough it will have room even if you leave booking very late.

if you're looking for an all-you-can-eat Christmas buffet with U.S.-style food, then Coop's spread at the Chik-N-Coop bar is the best value for money in town.  It's 600 baht for all the turkey, sides and trimmings you can pack in.  Coop's Christmas buffet is sold out every year, so get your ticket soon.

Another great choice for those of you who prefer a U.S.-style Christmas dinner is TiggleBitties Tavern at a reasonable 895 baht.  This is another place that is always sold out.

The InterContinental Pattaya Resort.  The sunset view from its Infiniti restaurant is spectacular.

If you're looking for a high-class Christmas dinner but don't want turkey and trimmings, this could be an option.

The Sportsman's is fully booked as of yesterday the 16th December.

Not surprising, as punters know they will get quality food in a timely manner.

They may allow about 10 walk ins but that will be luck of the draw.

I know other competitors have places available.

If you don't want turkey:

All you can eat oysters and 30 kinds of cheese seem good to me!  L'Auberge is located about 10 minutes walk from TukCom near the intersection of Soi 17 and Third Road.

I posted in the other thread a while back but they’ve said today that it’s sold out.

Edit: having checked it’s sold out on 24 and 31 but still places on 25 and 1st - as of this morning.

Thanks Evil.
