Afternoon Guys, I believe there is a fast track lane for flight crew, monks, pregnant and over 70?

I'm 5 months off 70 do you reckon its worth trying?

Yes, the lane is signposted first on right facing the immigration hall as you come from your plane.. Usually queue is very short indeed, would be surprised if you got turned back as they 'would be glad of the customer'. But check the normal immigration queues;at times they are short too.

There is a fast lane for leaving too. It is about 30m further on (south) than the main one.

For the last 3 years I've used the  fast track service when I have arrived at BKK at the beginning of my holiday.  Always been pleased with the service.  So I will continue using this service whenever I fly to Thailand.  The last time I visited Thailand I was going to book the fast track for when I leave the Thailand but somebody mentioned that they had booked it once and when they got to the airport to fly home they couldnt find the thai person who should have been there to help him.  So he had to go through security and immigration without help.  So I decided against booking fast track for the end of my holiday.  Didnt want to waste my money BUT the next time I fly to Thailand I might book the fast track for the end of my holiday and see what happens.  I think that guy was just unlucky

If you like a short line.  I use it both departing and entering LOS, on my return to LOS this past Sep I was sent to an immigration station that had a monk just finishing and only waited a minute or two before it was my turn.  Still had to wait for about 10 minutes for my luggage.

I think he was just unlucky. I started my trip with FT departure service (since I live in Thailand). When I got to the airline counter to check in I called the number on the FT receipt and told them where I was. One of them came to me at the airline counter and guided me to the FT security entrance. Maybe I would have done as well in the regular queue, but maybe not. The FT was a short queue, quick and easy. For me personally I'll be using it again next time I have another visit to the US.

My first experience with the FT arrival service will be next month, and I splurged on getting a cart. After a 20 hour flight, I wanted to try out the cart. :-)

The guy booked with the company listed below and he couldnt find them

https://www.limousine.in.th/fasttrack.php

Which is the company I've used the last two times to be fast tracked through immigration when I arrived.

I don’t know if there was someone else as well but I’ve posted about not being able to find staff when I booked Fasttrack for departure. It wasn’t that company though it was when I was still using BFS. There was no number to call I was just told to look around for a member of their staff who would be near check-in. No sign of them.

Agree with you on the advantages of fast track arrival.  I'll be very interested to read what you think of the https://www.limousine.in.th/fasttrack.php  service after you've tried it.

Thanks

I have used this service a few times and they were great. It seems when I use it the queues are small and when I do not they are a bit longer.  I also learned to walk past the first immigration lineup and down to the second which always seems to have shorter queues

That's odd. On the receipt they emailed me when I booked there were instructions and a phone number. I just called the phone number, told them where I was and what color shirt I had on, and their rep came and found me. Bummers that it did not work out for you.

yeah. Sadly, I booked and paid for my Fast Track service several months ago. I didn't anticipate this sudden slowdown of transportation services... I'm still going to appreciate the golfcart when I fly back to Thailand though. :-)

flew back into swampy on saturday early evening. what is usually the busiest section of regular immigration came up first and guessing things would be quiet i went for it.

only 2 folks in front of me for the immigration officer. that was it. right now the airport is incredibly quiet and no way is it worth paying for fast track unless you have a serious mobility problem

I think the airport will sadly be very quiet for quite awhile.  I think it was yesterday Emirates grounded all there planes.  And I also think Etihad have already done this.  So less airlines will be currently flying in and out of Thailand.  I think in the near future even less airlines will have there fleet of planes flying

I ended up using https://www.limousine.in.th/fasttrack.php to book the Fast track Cart and Porter in Feb and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Unfortunately due to Covid the arrival Golf cart service was unavailable due to incompatibility with the scanners being used but the cost was quickly refunded. While this could be annoying if you're immobile or disabled, it was me being lazy and Swampy ain't that big an airport.

SIN-MEL was in J and a guy with my name escorted me through the fast track customs and immigration, carted my luggage on a trolley and to my airport transfer car after getting my sim for my burner phone.

On my way home my BKK-SIN flight got reorganised and I forgot to inform them. Despite being completely my fault, once again I managed to get a full refund without difficulty.

Would definitely recommend.
