Only the new style Fast Track cards are accepted now, inbound and outbound.

So if you have a batch of the old one's to use or give to your mates it's too late now, they're worthless.

I was told this by a guy on the plane flying back into BKK from HK a couple of weeks ago after i'd been given one of the new cards and was swapping it for one of the old one's from my bag. Then confirmed by immigration and again by immigration when flying out again a few days later.

Aaaah noooooooooooooo............

I'm flying Cathay economy for thanksgiving and saved 2 passes from previous trips. BOLLOCKS.

So I just got an email back from BFS, they can no longer offer the service and offered a refund.

I laughed at the offer of a refund, why not just process it and let me know. Oh, and it will take two to three weeks...... really?!

I normally do fly business on Qatar or first on Cathay. I booked Cathay economy for my thanksgiving trip. I have OneWorld emerald which gets me free exit aisle seats on every sector, extra luggage, fast track, first class check in and the first class lounges and as it is a 3-3-3 777, I thought I would give it a try. The difference betweem economy and business was $5K.

Fair enough mate, that's a helluva difference.

I almost always fly biz class (sometimes first), but did a cheap one-way from Macau  or Manila once before.  I was in Macau (or maybe it was Manila?) on business, and booked a one-way award ticket home from BKK, so it made sense to book the cheapest one-way flight on the less than 3-hour flight from there to Bangkok.  I used BFS to secure my usual Premium lane access.

I had considered doing the same from Hong Kong at some point, because ti is only a 2 1/2 hour flight.

Guess that ship has now sailed....

Other company still seems to be operating

Can anyone confirm if this company is still offering fast track service?

Or are they only an agent for BFS and now cannot use them either.

Don,t want to book only to find out this is the case.  TiT  after all....

I used them on arrival for my current trip - though that as 2 weeks ago. They have a webchat function on the site which I used to check a couple of things before booking. It was manned by a native English speaker. Worth checking through that.

Thanks davidge,   contacted them and all is good.

yes we have available. If you would like to book only VIP fast track service, please do so via the form on https://www.limousine.in.th/fasttrack.php , but if you would like to book both VIP fast track service with a car transfer from or to the airport it's quicker to use https://www.limousine.in.th/reservation.php and select "airport with fast track service" as starting or end point.

I booked VIP & car with them this time - was feeling lazy  Cost a bit more than my usual options but worked well.

Friend has booked BFS for Saturday. I’ve warned him they may not be there!

Edit: he contacted BFS and they confirmed the booking so guess they are continuing for a few more days at least.

I got a premium fast track card after going Business class on Emirates a couple weeks a go, certainly speedy, possibly may help avoid any visa questions

I just priced checked fast track and limo.  BKK Airport to Pattaya 2550 baht with fast track.

That doesn't seem so crazy of a price for fast track and limo ride.  Right?

The taxi services (Nam, etc.) charge around 1100-1200 baht for the ride from BKK to Pattaya, but they certainly do not meet you at the gate (they meet by exit door to the airport)

Setting aside what the service may consider a "limo" (if it's a nice luxury car, that may be worth a few hundred baht more), that means you're looking at about 1350 for the "fast track" service and to be met at your plane.

I paid 850 baht when I used BFS 3 years ago, although I did not pay to have a girl meet me with a cart.

I would just confirm that fast track means they are taking you through the Premium immigration lanes OR some other kind of expedited immigration line.

If you want to use limousine.in.th premium lane/fast track service but not their car the price is 1200 baht.

The 2550 baht taxi plus immigration thing is a promotional offer. I'd consider this but probably not at the normal rate of 2850.

They are more expensive. I decided to book them this time for entire ‘package’ to see what it was like - and to save me dealing with more than one company.

I paid 5373 for golf cart on arrival, fast track, Porter and car journey both to Jomtien and back to the airport at the end of my stay.

It was all very efficient. Met at the gate, driven to immigration, handed on to porter who contacted driver as we left baggage so car was at gate 5 as we stepped out. Car was a normal Toyota Sedan, nothing special but fine. Driving was good.

If I’d booked the same services with BFS and then Nam for taxi it would have been about 4400 or 4500 - I forget the exact price for BFS but Nam is 1300 e/w to Jomtien.

I used BFS on a non-biz class flight, and, IIRC, they took me through the business class/Premium Lane.  There is no separate "Fast Track" that I am aware of (although I believe that there is a separate lane in the Premium area for visiting dignitaries, flight crews, etc.)

Perhaps mistakenly, I, too, have used "Fast Track" and "Premium Lane" are interchangeable terms.

Yes there is. The VIP lanes. If you fly Thai in F then you will be escorted to use these.

I used BFS in January and was met at the gate and escorted to the priority lanes.

Usually no-one has been there when I've arrived on the 3 or 4 times before.

This time there were about 7 or 8 already in each of the 2 queues.

I was left by my escort to join one while the other looked to be moving a bit quicker.

I guy in that line with around the same number in front of him as me, gave me a thumbs-up and a 'I picked the right queue'  type of grin.

Then my lady from BFS appears and leads me to the middle gate, opens it and I go straight up to the newly opened booth.

Couldn't help smile as I passed the smallish queue.

I guess I'll have to try the Limo mob in August.

Happened to me when I took KUL-BKK flight few weeks ago. Immigration officer was like where's new pass? I was like don't look at me, ask Malaysia Airlines!  I bet it'll take few months to sort out this issue but just another day in Thailand with ridiculous TiT approach.

Did you have your boarding pass to show him?  To be safe, I'm going to keep mine handy from now on.
