Folks over 70 can use the fast track lane.

I did not know her name, I did not know her name but I sure did love the way she laughed and called me honey.

I did not know her name, I did not know her name but I sure did love the way she laughed and took my money.

How do you do that? Is the lane clearly marked? I am 71 and I will only have carry on luggage, so I think I don't need a service.  I can get a phone set up in Pattaya, right?

The  lane is marked. It is off to the right of the regular lanes.

came in last night around 18 00  and the first immigration looked packed. directed to the other one which is past the fast track section.

now i had a fast track card that they gave me as i left the plane................i was fortunate to be upgraded as the plane was packed............but always worth looking at the regular lines first and keep the card for a rainy day. bingo 1 person in front of me for the immigration officer. magic. even more magic bags number 1 and 4 on the baggage belt a new personal best. Meow taxi waiting for me and in south pattaya by 19 45. now that's a touch !!!

and all without using the fast track card

I'm a big fan of using the service.  It takes me 30 hours to get to bkk from the states.  It's taken me 45-60 minutes to get through immigration before.  I have them meet me at the gate and walk me through, and have a taxi waiting for me.  So I figure it saves me 60-90 min of immigration and getting a taxi for each arrival.  90 minutes for 65 usd including taxi ride is worth it to me.  Especially when there is a beautiful thai woman waiting for me through immigration.  Get to the hotel and let the games begin.

I've paid for the Fast Track Service the last two times I've flown to Thailand.  And I've been pleased with the Service both times.

(1) It's nice to be met by a friendly Thai as I get of the plane

(2) Its great not having to queue at Immigration

(3) And with getting through immigration quickly It's great being able to pick where I want to stand at the carousel while waiting for my luggage.

So I'm happy to book the Fast track service in the  future

Why the rush to use the fast track ? Plenty of fish to be had in Pattaya , don’t be rushing , after all you can use the fast track fee to cover the long time expense .. 555

Other Note , I’m on Special Assistance Service (Free) .. Faster than fast track service . :Grin3:

Murphy's Law applies:

  • If you prebuy the Fast Track service, then there will be no immigration queues.
  • If you do not buy the service, then the queues will be long.

After a long journey It is an insurance policy for a relatively low cost to ensure a quick transit on arrival.

sorry Mr Bonkabit but have to disagree on this , for the last 3 yrs i have just walked on through and have NEVER been turned away . i travel economy and use various flight companies but mostly thai air . never look twice at me .i'm usually out and in the taxi and gone well before the other muppets have got through , out and gone ,  as on quiet a few occasions the que was massive , would have been at least 1hr wait time to pass immigration

Speaking of mobile phones, do most hotels in Pattaya accept text messages, in lieu of phone calls?

Also, does the Fast Track voucher from Singapore/Thai/Cathay Pacific business class offer all the services of this one?

With the Voucher from Business Class you can use the fast track channel. If you book with the company in addition to this you are met at the gate and escorted to and through (the same) Immigration. You also have the option of paying extra for a golf cart and/or a porter.

Thanks!

It looks like the  VIP Fast Track Service (1200 baht) and the golf cart service (1099 baht) comes out to 2299 baht ( or $72.69) for arrival at Swampy.

Think I may try it next trip.

I use it each time now, plus porter, even though I fly in Biz.

The other company is cheaper but can’t offer the fast track channel for Economy passengers.

I’ve used both and they’re both fine. I use the one you mentioned at the moment as I also book the car service with them.

I may go back to using BFS and Nams taxi in future, I’ll see.

I don’t understand people who travel for 18/24/36 hours to get to Bangkok and then spend time/money/mental resources on trying to get to Pattaya 10 minutes quicker than us sheeple. I know, it’s me.

I pay for a meet and greet service mainly because I don't want to take the long walk to immigration, I don't want to have to queue and as I travel in first my bags are out pretty quickly. For the small sum of a ST I think its worth it but each to their own.

I am planning to use the limousine.in.th service, to include the meet and greet, and golf cart ride to immigration (even though I have only carry-on), pop down to the basement (?) to change money at SuperRich, then meet “Nams” taxi service. I agree that it is a good value for those that are interested.

Now for the question I'm surprised no ones asked, who has the hotter hostesses - BFS or Limousine.in.th ?

they usually have a sign up it was on the left hand side last time i went through about 1 month ago , before that it was on the right hand side next to the thai lane behind the partition .

look for the sign saying flight staff or similar , is just before you normally turn up to go through

If you don’t have to stand in line then don’t.  Been through fast track a few times and worth it IMHO.
