Hi, i play with the idea to book the fast track service in advance, but i'm not sure, i dont want to waste 1200Baht. The reason is, i arrived at nearly all Month's now, i had a Low season Arrival where is waited 2 Hours in front of immigration, on an later visit i arrived at High season start of Feb and expected the worst waiting time but there was absolutely noone, maybe 5 People total for 10 immigration officers. Then i waited 30+ Minutes for my luggage

Can somebody Guess the approx. waiting time in front of Immigration for my next visit? (Is this even possible or totaly random?)

I arrive at 17.03.2018 11:10 Local time. Thanks in advance.

If you are worried about 'wasting' 1200 Baht mate, you are going to be sadly dissapointed  here, as you are coming to the wrong place.

I dont see 1500 baht for fucking a thai teen as wasted. But going throu immigration with fasttrack and see an empty immigration anyways is wasted.

Hardly ever see that in Immigation and if you are down to your last 1500 for a TG then, as I say, you are coming to the wrong place and without enough dosh.

Either you can tell the future, and it IS wasted, or you're just afraid that planning ahead to prevent hassle is overrated.

Stand in line for 45min sometime.   You'll be unwound with frustration.

Over my last 6 or 7 trips I have just walked to the 2nd immigration hall and been through in an average of about 30 minutes (sometimes about 15 minutes). My bag has either been waiting for me on the carousel or a few minutes later it has arrived.

Now maybe I've just been lucky but here's a tip for anyone checking in any baggage. When checking in your baggage at your departure airport ask them to tag it with a fragile tag, if they ask what's in your bag just say gifts for family but some could be breakable (not glass).

A friend who works for an airline told me that they are obliged to 'try' and keep fragile bags to the top of the pile therefore they should come out pretty quick at the other end.

You are 100% at the mercy of the baggage handlers but so far since I was told this it seems to work for me.

Another tip I can give you is if your bag gets lost or doesn't arrive when you land tell the airline you have an 'oxidising' agent in your checked bag, when they ask what it is tell them it's hydrogen peroxide (which is simple hand sanitizer).

This has happened to me on 2 trips (through Paris, who ALWAYS lose bags) and both times they have miraculously "found" my bag very quickly. When they asked me to check my bag I told them I must have forgot to pack it (this tip also came from airline friend)

I've been flying to Thailand for a long time and I always used to queue up at immigration.  Some have been long queues and some have been fairly short queues.  Eventually I got a bit tired of queuing. I got to situation where that once I landed at the BKK airport and got off the plane I just wanted to get through immigration as quickly as possible.  So for my last trip I booked with BFS and got fast tracked through immigration.  And it felt great walking to immigration and being able to get through immigration very very quickly. It was great not having to queue

Yes I still have to wait at the carousel for my suitcase but I didnt mind.  In fact I was the first person to arrive at the carousel from my flight so it was great picking my spot whilst waiting for my suitcase.

In future I will always book fast track to get me quickly through immigration

Summery on the posts that are here...

- Cheap charlies say fast track is shit & everyone that spends money on it is silly..

- People like me that value time (In a short life there is no more valuable commodity), find it very valuable & worth the cash.

Up to you to decide if it is worth it for you....

Same for me, I get a Premium card on each arrival as well as each departure. I use the departure Premium card always when leaving as you go thru the same exit as the flight crews use. I have never experience more than a couple of people in front of me unlike the lines at the regular exits.

I have only used the arrival Premium card once when there were long lines in both the 1st and 2nd immigration lines. I too have given them out to people to use when they are departing BKK.

I just signed up for the service all she has to do is get me through immigration fast and I'll

take care of the rest, getting in at 11:20 am and last time it was a snails pace, if it is the same

it's worth 900 Baht.

Well i booked the fast track and was off the plane and through immigration in about 10 minutes. For the first time ever my plane deboarded almost opposite immigration! Good job i didnt book the golf cart :D by fluke my bag was one of the ones that appeared on the carousel first so i was out of the airport and in one of  nams taxis in about 25 minutes, a personal best 5555

This week I went through fast track immigration (free with my business class ticket) with no-one in the queue in front of me and several desks manned and empty. My luggage was waiting for me next to the carousel (not on the carousel), though that was down to the airline not the fast track service. I still dont quite know how they managed that as I was one of the first off the plane and went directly to immigration and then the luggage carousel.

I paid 850 Baht for fast track, met by cute girl off the aircraft, escorted to the fast track lane and then met again past immigration and escorted to my waiting driver. Last three trips average 15 minutes from stepping off to meeting driver.  Now listed as 900 Baht

i have never paid for fast track , i just go through thai national - fast track and have never been knocked back , have done this 6-7 times in the last 2yrs . straight through no waiting every time

Hi. I just come back from a short trip in France.

As usual (for me) there was no queue at all at the Airport Immigration, in both ways.

Here is what the Exit Immigration hall looked like while I was waiting for my Re-Entry stamp at about 11AM :

Murphy's Law applies:

  • If you prebuy the Fast Track service, then there will be no immigration queues.
  • If you do not buy the service, then the queues will be long.

After a long journey It is an insurance policy for a relatively low cost to ensure a quick transit on arrival.

Immo queues are only part of the deal

basically, I could care less if I get a better deal with or without BFS at Immo (actually I get a free fast-track from the airline anyhow). It's the package, golf cart,  staff to watch my stuff while I go take a pee, staff to sort any issues with baggage (or anything else), and who disarm that raised eyebrow at customs with a flirty smile, and all for chump change.

My view is you've just spent XXX amount on the flight a tiny bit more to smooth things out from gate umbilical to out of the airport and into your transport is a no-brainer.

I used BFS last year and am happy to recommend them.

The young lady spoke excellent English. She met me at the top of the jetway as I got off the plane, guided me through (fast track) immigration and baggage claim.  She also helped me to get a Thai sim card for my phone, and guided me to the meeting point for my taxi.

Just a note that BFS can now only provide the Fasttrack service for passengers travelling in Business or First. 700 baht without golf cart, 1450 with.

Thai Limo (Siam group) still offer it to Economy passengers but they are considerably more expensive. 1200 baht without golf cart, 2299 with.
