What did you order and how bad was it?

Its a shame the standards have dropped!

Typical ka prao, egg was dry as hell and baby portion.

Apparently the owners kids have taking over so might explain.

Not a restaurant, but the keow teow nam Tok (street noodle soup with pork blood) at the 7/11 kitchen stand opposite bliss lounge is my favourite place to eat in pattaya.
Heaps of garlic, plenty of meat. Huge serving. And it's 40 baht.
i go about 4 times a trip and it's worth the walk from my hotel.
Opposite Bliss lounge is a Family mart (other side of road), is it there? Or next to Bliss there is a 7-11, there? I passed 30 mins ago and nothing cooking

Sorry, yeah a family mart. On the opposite corner

theyre all 7/11's in my head.

And they usually don't start cooking the soup until about 5pm.

Sticking to the German theme, I've tried Brauhaus German and enjoyed the food there, I recall another German restaurant near there too but this was better.

I go to Brauhaus every week or two. Their dinner specials are all under 300 baht. Usually 225 and 275. That’s with soup, salad bar, large main course with starch, and coffee or ice cream. I like knowing the specials before I walk in (they’re on the banner outside). And the quality is fine. Not great, but more than adequate.

Yes. Mata Hari was a nice place, but the last few times I was in, no other costumers. Guess it had run its course, so many other options at the upper end.
