Anybody know any hotels with no reception to avoid the 'walk of shame'?

There is no walk of shame. It's in your head!

Everyone knows why you are in Pattaya. Bring new bargirl(s) proudly with you. Make out in elevator/lobby. It's all part of the fun. In most hotels the reception staff like a good laugh and naughty show too!

In some hotels they egg you on!

Hi anyone know of any  other hotel or condo to avoid/bypass  those rude ass Thai receptionists?

Stayed in vt6 last month. Currently looking for a cheaper alternative.

If you don’t like “the walk of shame”, you shouldn’t be coming to Pattaya in the first place.

I like the surprised and embarrased jealous look of the hotel receptionists, when I walk in at night,

with a sexy and hot young gogo lady that is betterlooking than them!:P:D

Plahgat

When no money... she no give honey!

After you experience your first trip I cant see why blokes are worried about this.I was leaving the Sabai Wing after a night with a girl from Drinking St.She was escorting me to the nearest cash machine and the young receptionist was laughing saying "no money no honey" I don't think they give a shit.Look at the amount of ID's listed in the book when the girl gets her ID back.

My biggest hurdle used to be the stink-eye from passport stamp man.  But I just wink back now.......

I always make sure there is a guest friendly reception, and often have some great banter with them.

I really think they prefer you to follow the rules so they are not cleaning up any 4AM shitstorms.

I could be wrong but I think for some guys it isn't the reception group but the looks from others staying there. My very first barfine when I landed in Bangkok from Nana had me feeling the same. But once I noticed the smile on the check in girl's face and the seen it all before security guard, it didn't bother me anymore after that.

But why would the people at the reception tell your current company about former girls? That's quite uncalled for, least to say unprofessional. I'd understand it if they are family/friends, but even then in such a setting. At the end of the day I'm a guest and prefer to be treated accordingly.

I hear the base do have one.
Finally settled for vt6 but will be looking for somewhere cheaper next time to avoid those rude ass receptionists!
I am staying at the Base for the first time now. There is no reception, but there is a sort of reception desk to check you in and I only see them there sporadically in the daytime. Nobody bothers you or checks IDs once you are checked in. Prices are much better than VT6.

Without even reading the comments as I know it's obviously been said atleast 5 times... You really think it's a walk of shame in the mongering capital of the world? Do you think the reception gives a fucking shit about you leaving or arriving with a girl? If you're worried about being judged you was probably judged as a monger the second you stepped foot in Pattaya. These receptions see it 100s of times a day and to even think that they'd pay you any attention over anyone else is rather deluded. Hell, 80-90% of these reception girls would probably suck your cock for 1000 baht. Don't sweat it.

It's only a walk of shame in one's own mind if one has shame about what he/she is doing ... better to evaluate why the shame is there in the first place than worry about transiting the hotel.

If you take a beachfront room at the LK Empress on beach road then their is a lift behind the kitchen inthe roadside breakfast bar/restaurant to access your room. Striaght off the street and upstairs without going through reception.

Only thing is there is no safety if your date hasn't left her ID at reception.

And I don't consider it a "Walk Of Shame". More like a walk of accomplishment.

Well, there have been a couple of times after a night of drinking that I have returned with companions that you would not consider an accomplishment :)

I think it is probably the concern of being seen more by the others staying then hotel staff. I know I was given that "you should be ashamed" look several times by the wives/girlfriends of guys staying there. I just ignore them. Never understood why bring your family here for vacation knowing what it is. And then get that smug condescending look when you actually see it happen.

I remember that one time, i walked into my guesthouse around 11pm, alone, because i needed something from my room that i had forgotten. It was a guesthouse/restaurant so there was something like a "reception" 24/7. The woman looked at me, with a sad face and said "you ok? why alone, why no lady?" :o:D I had a quick chat with her and when i came back some hours later she had the biggest possible smile on her face and said something like "now is good!" :D There is only a walk of shame if you are alone or maybe if you stay in a hotel which is normally for 90% families.
