I normally have my brekkie at Jimmy Macs on Soi 6. Any other good recommendations near Soi 6 are welcome, maybe I'll try out a few more Brekkie options on my June trip.

This morning my TG and I tried The Boars Head Soi Chayapoon, as described above, good small breakfast cooked to order and perfect. 95 Baht

Well it's not the cheapest but best value breakfast for me was the Golf Club. Great selection and really good coffee.

If only they would prevent street hawkers coming in - last time I ate breakfast there 19 of them approached me ..

A nice leisurely breakfast - relaxing, responding to messages checking FB etc

But they came one after another - every few minutes

I pointed it out to one of the owners (not Steve) - he said

"nothing we can do about it"

Yes you can - instruct your staff to tell them no to approach customers - eventually they get the message

So its simple I vote with my feet ..

Kilkenny in LKM is the same, nice breakfast but you get at least 2 hawkers

One of the reasons I stopped going in there,and the cigar smoke.Owners only need to put a sign up stating no Hawkers and if they try fine 500B plenty of other places do it seems to work.

I spoke to the American owner and ultimately its WAS his business - I understand he is no longer a shareholder ...

 

Plus a lot of the hawkers are not Thai

KTK Royal Residence has a 189 baht all you can eat Buffet Breakfast every day. Eggs cooked to order, as many times as you like,  with your usual mix of Western and Asian dishes. Personally I can't fault it for the price, it gets me through most of the day, excellent value.

I agree with benny the devonshire is a good quality breakfast for the price and also i like the eggs benedict at the nags head on 2nd road.

Redox, the sportsman and Bake and Brew are three great brekkie places that I go to frequently when in town. They all have quality breakfast and A brekkie is usually around 200 - 220 bath. I stay away from the 99 , 129 bath breakfast places..it's crappy instant coffee, crappy eggs, pooor quality sausage and tasteless white bread...then I rather Have an egg mcmuffin and a coffee at McDonald's.

Yes, have to agree... great breakfast at Casa Pascal and totaly worth the price.
