If you read his posts he says he is not on holidays . He lives in Thailand . That will be why he doesn't accept bad attitude , he's not a two week money burner .

oh, must have missed that, apologies, but I still stand by what I say, just have to change a couple words, from holiday to evenings/days/weekends/non~working time/ whatever .....555

If he lives in Thailand he could have went home alone and take a girl the next day when he isn't totally wasted.

Went out with 10000 drank too much. went to angelwitch last thing i remember was fucking about with two very sexy girls one of which I had gone back for. Woke up in wrong hotel with angelwitch girl smiling at me. She informed me with a sexy grin on her face that I couldn't remember my hotel name so she sorted me put a short time room where I pissed myself twice in my sleep. I went to touch her she laughed and said no we need to do you now. After we finished she asked if remembered where my hotel was? I told her the name and she escorted me to my room. She then asked for her money 3000. I looked in my wallet there was less than 500. What could i say? Totally my bad. IMO If you get drunk and leave responsibility for your well-being to strangers in a foreign country and end up with empty pockets thank your lucky stars nothing worse happened.

+1. You are wise enough to accept responsibility for your predicament.

It's not a justification, but the OP placed himself in that position. For example, just because you have the right of way to cross the streeet does not mean you would walk in front of a speeding car that was violating traffic rules. Getting shitfaced drunk with 6K in your wallet and a strange bargilr on your arm is asking for trouble.

one way or another you gonna get fucked.... 555

hes just pissed cos he had something else in mind thinking about getting fucked.....

she fucked him the other way 555

anyway, good for her, I justify her actions because im bored of this thread, and he wasted her time.

and he's dragged on this thread way too long.... wasted her time, invited her to hotel, then he was given an option, he declined, maybe she was horny, so she went to get a man that could fuck.

;-)

(yes im being sarcastic, just in case you missed it)

fucking get over it already!

Ok  , but doesn't give the girl the right to go into his wallet .

For example ,   If I'm drunk  , pass out in the back of a taxi cab  ,  has the driver a right to help himself from my wallet  ?

What is the correct thing to do here  ?     Follow the law in all occasions  .

.

yes.

and just hope you are.lucky that he takes you where you wanna go, and only takes his fare + extra large tip fir dealing with another drunk.

its your responsibility not to get in that state. its your responsibilty to be able to take of your self, a cabbie is not responsible to take care of you like a baby!

The same as in any country .  You steal from someone , you break the law  .   I thought most people know this but seems some on here think it's ok for thai to steal from farang  as farang have too much money  .

Following the law is always good advice. The catch is the law often requires some kind of proof. Not always mind you, but often.

In this case we have his word against her word. He says there was 3000 baht in the wallet. She says there was only 500. Who does the BIB believe? He admits to being shitfaced, which would tend to raise questions about his memory.  So, he argues that she took the 500 illegally, she says she took what was owed her. Again, the BIB will need to make a decision on who they believe, keeping in mind his intoxicated state at the time.

Do you really think there is anything to gain out of this besides learning a lesson?

It's the one you don't hear that gets you, and the one you don't see coming that traps you.

She admitted taking 500 baht  , no further proof of theft necessary .   In a court of law that would be taken as a guilty plea  .

What could be gained is the girls loss of face  , perhaps she would think twice next time about robbing farang  and we would have safer holidays  .

I doubt if the girl mentioned by the OP would see it as stealing. She would argue that she simply took what she was owed because he was too drunk to pay her.

If the mamasan wanted to get the law involved it suggests to me that the girl is a known tea leaf.

Also, the girl's promise to pay you 2000 baht is as good as an admission of guilt (the 3000 taken minus 1000 for her trouble).

Don't know if I would bother getting the police involved, as that's just another half a day out of your holiday. But I believe it went down as you describe it.

You've got Buckley's of getting cash out of her now I'd just block her on FB and treat it as a learning experience.

And I think you did the right thing reporting the theft to the bar.

No, not if it is money due.... She admitted to taking what was owed....

She claims he said she could take it since it was owed. He says he didn't, yet he was drunk and doesn't remember much about it until he woke up. just perhaps.....

I understand what you are trying to get at, I do.  If she really took the money then I'm with you, but proof is a whole different animal, and loss of face goes both ways. Especially since he lives there.

It's the one you don't hear that gets you, and the one you don't see coming that traps you.

As drunk as you said you were, you most likely spent the money, or lost it some other way. Highly unlikely the girl stole from you - and if she did, your fault for being so drunk.

LOL.

Years ago I used to empathize with the guys who would start threads like these, but now I just find them funny as hell.

And just when I thought it couldn't get anymore entertaining, I see the post quoted above.

Honest to God, it made me spit milk.

I'm short on time, but I can't wait to come back and continue reading this thread.

Op had 6000,girl took 500 and barfine must have been 500??

He thought he had 3000 left in the wallet so that leaves only 2000 for getting drunk...Drinking sambuca shots.

I don't know what happened but I do know 2000 ain't enough for me to get pissed and pass out.

You get drunk and have to take responsibility for the consequences of that.

If she did take the cash obviously she was wrong, but dont accuse her without proof.

Aha, it was the fat Arab amour ... saw that she left in a hurry, lubbed up the OP and felt it was worth 2500 baht.

This is a false assumption. You have admitted you were drunk. The reality is that you can't prove what happened to your money. Learn a lesson and move on. Next time, if you want to get crazy drunk, go home alone and leave the girls in the bar.

In fact, if you're going to spend your time in Thailand being blind drunk, don't bother leaving your own country -- you can enjoy the same state of unconscious without getting 'robbed' or whining about it. ;-)
