Real, Benfica, PSG & Wolfsburg are throgh to the QFs, remaining 4 places up for grabs next week. 

 

Looks like City will be the only survivor from the EPL with PSG knocking out Chelsea & Arsenal facing an uphill task against Barca.

City & Atl Madrid through to the QFs last night. What a boring game City played out, they must have pre-settled on a nill all draw. At least, the Atletico match had the drama of 16 tie breaker shots being taken.

 

Arsenal playing their last game in UCL this season, trying to recover a 0-2 deficit against Barca, not a chance. Bayern v Juve the tie to watch out for, nicely poised at 2-2.

What a brilliant game between Bayern & Juve, all quality players playing at the optimum level & lung shattering pace. Juve were nearly there but Bayern managed to claw back & then win in a commanding fashion.

 

As expected, Barca too good for Arsenal with M-S-N scoring the goals & displaying audacious flicks & tricks.

UCL QF Draw:  Nicely setup for big boys RM, FCB, PSG and BM to reach SF

QF's resumed yesterday night with Barcelona coming from behind to beat Atl Madrid, they hold a slender lead of 2-1, away goal being the critical factor. Bayern beat Benfica easily though the margin was just 1-0.

 

PSG vs City tonight, end of the road for Pellegrini?

Shock result in Germany with Wolfsburg easily beating RM, City have two away goals, that should act as a buffer for their home game.

PSG's midfield is shambolic with Verotti and Pastore out.  But Luiz missing next game will be the key that puts PSG into next round.  PSG 2-1

Real Madrid will rest their team in la liga to be ready for return leg.  Could be a 5-0 thrashing by RM.

Barca v ATL Mad in a crunch game today, while Bayern should prevail over Benfica despite the slender lead from 1st leg.

City was very impressive.  DeBruyne makes such a difference on offense.  Yaya off makes such a difference on defense.  

 

Go Barca.  They've been really poor in La Liga lately.  Would not be surprised if Athletico sneak out to a 1-0 lead and then bunker for the win.
