I'm announcing 4 pm, but basically it will be an all day affair.  So come whenever.

 

Open at 11 am and girls arrive by 2 pm.  We will have most of the food ready by 4 pm.............

Went in to check out the party, was charged 150 baht for food though I wasn't hungry and had no intention of eating. Fair 'nuff. Got a drink--they were quite busy so took a while. They wanted immediate payment--I guess they thought it was too busy to allow people to run a bin. There was another 150 baht food charge on that. They took it off when I pointed out that I had already paid. Fair 'nuff. Stayed for half an hour, never got a glance from anyone of the female persuasion. Gave up and left.

I just came back from the party and it was awesome...the lineup was the best I have seen from any of the gentlemens clubs that I have been to.Apparently they are having a St Patricks day bash as well.Food was OK.I will return no doubt.

I "tried" to eat some food....it was advertised as....a big spread......

 

all that was on offer for my 150 baht was some dried up sandwiches.....some stone cold pasta....some stone cold chicken strips & some stone cold potato "something"....there was a "Balloon chaser" pig outside....but did not see any of it on offer inside....

 

not exactly appetising...... but   Hey........som nom na.....it ain't big bucks.....

 

Yes, there were quite a few ladies in the place....but not one that seemed to want a drink.....

 

Not a problem, for me.....I don't rent these days....but I have been known to buy a LD....or 20 on my travels....lol

 

will I go back.....doubtful !!

I missed the party which I was looking forward to going to but if it was as you stated then perhaps missing it wasn't such a bad thing after all?? Would like to hear peoples reports back on this place................

Mclub is a great place   Didn't sample the food last night (I always ear prior to imbibing) but was plenty of eye candy when i was there from 4:30 until about 6:30.  Had some ladies join us at out table for some conversation and bought a ladies drink for each of them   For the most part looked like people were having a great time save for a couple of folks hiding out in the corners.  People were eating plenty of the pig when I was there.  In defense of the billing, We too had an extra charge for the food on the chit but all we needed to do was indicate to the server the problem and it was remedied.  I have been the Mclub several times over the past month and found the place a welcome retreat from some of the other gents clubs.

Mistake one. Applying the food charge on the presumption that everybody would partake. No real problem charge removed from the bill when it was pointed out. There seemed to be ample food there when we arrived and an hour after our arrival the pig was ready and was being brought into people wishing to eat.

 

Good layout, lots of nooks and cranny's and on this day loaded with women, all of whom seemed interactive and happy to sit and play and gratefully accept LD's, all such were 100 Baht with the ladies receiving 50 Baht so not a bad deal for them.

 

All standard bottled beers were 70 Baht and spirits 100 Baht (both special price for the day)

 

Not all the ladies working there were full time as agency girls had been added to the mix for this birthday bash. Friendly place, clean with friendly girls, a good new addition IMHO

wjin and Cerberus describe the situation pretty much as I experienced it from about 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

The bottom line is that the girls behind the bar were overwhelmed. No, let me rephrase that -- wildly overwhelmed.

I had no problem with the food charge. Only had it charged once.

The problem here was that some guys were paying outside and then the bar staff saw them eating and charged them again not knowing that they had already paid outside. A simple lack of communication amongst the controlled chaos. Nothing nefarious or shady. Sitting at the bar, I saw many of the food charges removed from the bar bills without question.

To say that you won't return to a bar because of a few hiccups on what was essentially a grand opening night is just silly.

 Dumsoda...in my post I said the food was OK....I wasn't looking for a fine dining experience or cordon bleu...just something to throw down my gullet washed down with some beers and having a cute girl by my side...which I had.The standard of girls yesterday was impressive I think and I bought 3 LDs and the blokes I was talking to did the same to their girls..I left a happy man and whilst I may not go there all the time,I will definately return there someday and hope that the girl quality and supply is the same.No flaming or arguments,I am just saying I enjoyed myself and as such I feel that I can post my thoughts as well as anyone.

I specifically told the woman at the front that I wasn't eating. She said "Up to you" and then took my money.

 

Edit: Apparently I thought it was a mandatory charge, but it wasn't. If I had known the option to just go in and have a drink was possible, I would have done just that.

...I was disappointed with "MY" experience....had stopped for a few more drinks on the way home....and then a few more Bourbons as I sat at the 'puter.....and vented....

To be fair....the previous time I stopped in the owner came over and introduced himself.......we were made to feel very welcome.

The place had a nice feel....and I was joined by a pleasant fun  lady....more than .happy to buy LD's....no probs

 

Yesterday....OK maybe just our bad luck....but we were escorted out the back....and abandoned..... there were a lot of unattached ladies wandering around....but not 1 made any effort to....earn herself a LD

 

I've had the second head taken off....and my leprosy is under control....so in a darkened room I am borderline human   these days

 

Someone must have spread the word.....because no one came within 5 metres of us

 

We were told on entry (at the table outside) that the food charge was not negotiable....even though my friend did not wish to eat....so we paid....no probs

 

We ordered a drink....which took ages to appear....(yes, understand they were busy....)

 

I was hungry....something that does not happen often these days (after Radiation & Chemo treatment)....often I go 3 or 4 days eating virtually nothing...

 

Yes....I was pissed off.....I could not eat what was on offer....even though I tried

 

I fully understand that running any sort of business here is a bloody nightmare....I live with that every day.

 

To be perfectly fair, maybe I should give the place another try

Just want to say thank you to everone that came yesterday.  We had a great time and I appreciate everyone's support.

 

Most people seemed to have a great time, and due to the event being our first "large" event, our staff was overwhelmed at times.  Sorry for any delays.  Also it is apparent that the food charging was an issue and when it became a problem during the party, I informed the cashier to stop charging for the food.  But obviously the outside/inside problem was another issue.  We learned from this.....

 

The food was outside and a huge spread, some comments seem to have only noticed the one side of Farang food, there was also a huge spread on the opposite side of 4 delicious Thai dishes and fruit.......maybe that was not seen as well.  We aren't a professional kitchen, although our daily food is great bar-fare [fish and chips is really good, chicken sandwich and chicken club and many love the chicken tenders], so we did the best we could with the food outside.

 

As far as the ladies, we had about 40 lovely ladies at the club and they were kept busy.  All of the ladies are different, some are aggressive, and some are not.  I instruct ladies in my club to not be super aggressive and generally let the guys come to them.  I don't like a pushy bar.  So, it's possible to not get attention, but trust me, the ladies are here to take care and try to get drinks, etc.  This forum has guys complain that girls are too pushy, and sometimes complain that they are not pushy enough.  The key is to realize that everyone is different, and is looking for something different.  Just know that "in general", our ladies are waiting for you to approach them.

 

All in all it was a good day, and hopefully only a few people experienced some problems. We again appreciate your business and any recommendations are always taken and considered.

The whole point of what you are doing is trying to get the balance right and keep everyone happy. But this is an arduous task and rarely achieved as you just can't please everyone. The fact that your trying and happy to take on board all customers points gives you a great chance of making your club a real success and i wish you all the luck!! I will pop in at some stag next weeks as sadly I had to miss the party :(
