Just bare-backed a Freelancer - what to do now?

Recommended Posts

I know, I know, what a dumb ass thing to do; I didn't set out to do it, I was struggling to finish with a damn condom and before I knew it she had taken the condom off and was screwing me without.....

Anyway I've always been super careful so never really read up on STI's or even worse, HIV so don't really have a clue what to do next.

* Is there some kind of 'morning after the night before' type of thing that I can take?

* I guess that i need to go and get tested now, but will any infections show up immediately?

* Any other useful information that I should know about?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Best way to get peace of mind is to take her to get tested that way you can be reasonably confident. I've caught a couple of doses of ghonorea and chymidia out there from similar experiences but luckily it only took zithromax to clear it up.

Best thing to do get to the Chemist and dose yourself up on a five day course after explaining why you want to.

Insist on a Five day course.

Cover up then when Home get to the Clap Clinic

Tell them the Truth and then you got Three Months to await the all clear for HIV or the Syph

No point getting her found and, tested will not help you out knowing what she may or may not have

Lesson learnt and do not feel bad we all are stupid sometimes

Agree with the above, but I would also not panic. Most of the things you can contract are fairly well understood these days, and while the meds can be painful, you should be ok at the end of them.

Don't panic first of all......

Think most of us have had equipment failures from time to time. My first time I was a little scared too.

Just remember that

1) She has to have something for you to get.

2) Transmission of anything is never 100% if she does have something.

3) Most common things are easily cleared up.

4) You would have to be really unlucky to get Herp/Syph or HIV from a once off encounter.

Most of us find it hard to enjoy sex with a condom. Problem is, as you have just discovered, it's no so enjoyable without one in some cases either. Just bag it up from now on, get some good ones don't buy cheap crap. Get some lube and place a drop on ya knob first, improves sensation somewhat.

Don't let it spoil ya trip, you are probably worrying about nothing. Bag up and get back in the game...!!

"2) Transmission of anything is never 100% if she does have something."

That's really critical. People freak out all the time, but in reality if you are having just vaginal sex, the rate of transmission is much reduced, and even the things that are transmitted are definitely curable.

I doubt very very much that you contracted HIV.

I had a rubber break on me several times in the past and a few have come off (too much lube).

It's been fine. I was shitting myself the first time and had all the tests done. I was fine.

But I still always bag it up. No sense in tempting fate!

What to do next ??

I would suggest an appointment at the doctors just to be sure that you are fine.

If you are afraid of the answer the doc would give you, then wait it out.... But if your dick turns purple and fall off, you would have been better off at the doc's i think :GoldenSmile1:

Just get checked, it's not that big a deal.

Get some sandpaper ( ask at your local DIY shop what grade ) Rub your bell end with it ..."

or go to the docs or chemist and ask for some Zithromax

If it floats, flies or fucks It's probably cheaper to rent ...

Well, if you are really unlucky then you will hit the jack pot. So how lucky are you typically?

Anyway, yes, it's my understanding that there IS a "morning after" type of deal for HIV. However, you do need to do it within first 24 or 48 hours. I recall someone posting about it.

As for the rest, most antibiotics will take care of it.

I think the most "difficult" part is going to be if you have someone back home. Because if you do, how do you avoid intimacy with them while you get clean up? Otherwise, the rest is just matter of medication to get clean up. Unless you are really unfortunate and get one of them hepatitis or herpes or Super antibacterial resistant gonorrhea.

Ghosty gave great advice here.

The important thing is not to panic and let it ruin the rest of your holiday.

Take the meds (sorry no alcohol during this time) and just et back out there on the horse.

Not much more you can do right now so no need to worry about it.

Although in 9 months time.......

I don't see it as such as how do you know what to 'dose yourself up' on? The best advise I have seen in this thread is to get her tested (more for peace of mind) and see a doctor.

Post-exposure prophylaxis

Take a look at that for the "morning after" type drug for HIV.

In order for post-exposure prophylaxis to have a chance of working, the medication needs to be taken as soon as possible, and within 72 hours of exposure to HIV. Left any longer and it is thought that the effectiveness of the treatment is severely diminished.

Better get your shots ASAP, since she has no doubt barebacked many others.

Thanks all for the replies, it seems that the overall advice is to go down the medication and testing route.

Just a few queries about timing now -

* Is it better to wait a period of time or until I return to farangland (at the end of the month) before getting tested i.e. does there need to be a certain time lapse between the 'incident' and the test for all the infections to be picked up?

* If the tests can be done immediately, is there a need to go down the medication route (ie is there any need to fill yourself with medication for infections that you don't have)?

There is a reputable hospital in Pattaya that's very reasonably priced even without insurance. Go down, tell them why you are coming (like this is going to be the first time they hear it being in middle of Pattaya?). The doctors there can advise you far more professionally.

Whatever the consequences of anyone's advice here, it'll be YOUR health that's at stake. So I don't know if there's anything "on the line here for anyone other then you.

Your money. Your health. Your decision.

Hope that's easily enough for you to decide.

"Transmission of anything is never 100% if she does have something.""

Hiv is the big one that scares the shit out of us as most other things have a treatment. There have been many reported cases of people with HIV who lived with someone, a spouse or partner, for many years. They had regular sex and the partner never contracted the disease. LIke others said, dont panic and worry yourself perhaps unnecessarily.

Don’t worry, there is medicine for more or less all sickness and not easy to get hiv.

Enjoy the day and don’t think too much because you can get sick of that.

A simple solution. If you are in touch with the girl and it is still within 72 hours then take her to the Pattaya Memorial hospital. It is very reliable and their HIV tests are fourth generation, they will tell you if she has been infected within the last 4 weeks. The three month thing is conservative. If she comes out HIV negative, then try and forget it and just get a three month test yourself. If she is positive, still don't panic. Get yourself on PEP. I have been on PEP myself, and it is no picnic, so honestly unless you have had a confirmed exposure I would not go down that route.

As for the other STD's although they are something to think about, personally having been afraid of HIV, that king of puts them in perspective for me and I don't really give a shit about them, they can be dealt with in farrang land. But time is the key here, if you can get her tested for HIV ASAP, and decide what to do from there. I think PEP has a decent success rate. I didn't know my girls status, but I have turned out fine.

Thanks.

When I read his post I thought it said go to a Doctor not go to a chemist.

If it said go to a doctor then I think it would be the best advice...but of course that I just my opinion.

Either way I don't think he should let this incident ruin his holiday.

Well he could of asked me which Medication, and I may of responded and told him which ones to ask for :GoldenSmile1: :GoldenSmile1: :GoldenSmile1:

Not sure how realistic it is for most Punters to find the FL, then explain why they want her to come with them to the Hos[ital for tests. Time after all is Money, never mind the Language barrier.

Of course if she is in the incubation period for HIV or Syph, or even other stuff, these Tests would not IMO be deemed as reliable, and I for one would not confident in them.

Up to him of course what he does but I know what I would be or have done

Cheers
