Chow Soi and China Garden Full-Where to Stay?

The 2 places above are far and away the best value and fitted out places I've found in Patts. The problem is, due to countless growing reviews, mine among them so I should have kept me mouth shut, they are almost impossible to get into.

 

Does anyone know any places with the same sort of large, well-equipped rooms and excellent service these 2 have for a sensible price. Doesn't have to be on or near the Soi Mookow area, but I would like to be near Sois 6,7, and 8.

 

If there isn't anything, some owners should up their places to these guys standards as they're running atb almost 100% occupancy rate.

 

Great for them, bad for me, any help well appreciated. Looking to be down for a week from the 7 Aug.

I don't think that there is anywhere quite as good as those 2 places unfortunately....

They really are 2 amazing guesthouses and WAY ahead of many other places.

 

If you are looking for somewhere that is budgety but also has a pool then I can recommend Opey De Place.

It's also in Soi Lenkee...you will not get as awesome a setup as CG or CS but it's not too bad.

 

Next time book earlier my friend!

OK I was just doing a little tidying up of my bookmarked folders and notice this place.

Looking at the photos it looks really nice and the prices are pretty good also.

 

Maybe worth checking out......has anyone stayed there?

Alternatives .. Canterbury Tales ? or the new Sutus Court ... Natural View along Soi Baukaw

 

 

Glad you guys are loving the new place... my job now is to make sure everything stays well maintained and not run down over the coming years. If either Onyx or Carter club come up I will definitely expand. I have learnt a lot opening CG and the next will be even better!

I have two rooms on the roof, 1 bedroom apartment & maids quarters.. I could upgrade the rooms and move the maids a few doors down to above the Jolly Friar which is empty..or Juice! But would people hike up that far ? 4th floor... no lift! hmmm it would definitely get you fit

4th floor aren't so bad, there are some of us who love walking. As long as they're quality rooms at affordable prices, I think there'll be takers even if it's 5th floor.

 

Also there are younger guys coming to Pattaya now, I doubt they have problem climbing up the stairs.

Nope, I haven't even booked a flight yet! I did ask Ian back in early may about booking a Jacuzzi room for my birthday but he was all booked up even then. Mainly by the other posters in this thread!

Understatement of the year. Try THIS one, looks like Sutus has either been expanded since PPG or is set back a little from the road.
