Genuine question to Evertonians - I’m not taking the piss (for once ) - is the recent poor form and run of results mainly down to the injuries to important players or are there deeper problems under Rafa?

There's only so much that a Townsend, Gray, Allan or Tom Davies can do. Initially, they were on fire & now as expected, they have reverted back to style.

Hi Davidge I think its a mixture of a number of things.  We don't have great depth in our squad so our injuries are having an impact.  Rafa needs money to bring in decent players but because of FFA(thats correct I think) Everton couldnt give him money to spend before the season started.  And I'm not sure if we can give him money in the January window.  

I think the club are also to blame because in recent years they've appointed the wrong managers.  And they have sanctioned big fees and wages on players that in the main were/are not good enough.

Lastly I think Rafa (who I didnt want) will do a good job for us but even Rafa isnt beyond critisism.  Yesterday Rondon at centre forward was as usual rubbish but Rafa kept him on for 90 minutes.  On the bench was Tosun and the young lad Simms.  So why didnt Rafa bring on one of those for the last 20 minutes.  They couldnt have done any worse
