Tomorrow we are playing Manchester United at Old Trafford.  In my younger days I used to watch us at Old Trafford.  And two games spring to mind and both were night matches.

One game ended 2 - 2 and big Dunc scored both goals.  And both were good goals

The other gam in the late 1980's I think ended in a 1 - 1 draw but I mainly remember this game because the coach I was on was the first Everton coach to arrive.  And the police wouldnt let us walk up to the ground.  They were keeping us in the coach park untill all Everton fan coaches arrived and then they were going to walk us all up to the ground.  This was no good to me because I wanted to go to a pub for a couple of pints before the game.  So as the game was a night game in the middle of winter and dark I decided to walk to the back of the coach and then around the back to see if I could walk away without being seen.  And I managed it.  So I started walking up to the ground (I wasnt wearing any Everton colours).  After a short while I got to a juction and to my right was a pub and on the other side of the junction and to the left was the ground.  So I went in the pub and bought a pint.  This pub was full of United fans.  After a while I ordered a 2nd pint and drank it outside.  Whilst drinking my pint my fellow Everton fans were being escorted to the ground.  And they walked past me.  Some of the lads of my coach saw me and looked confused.  No doubt wondering how I managed to get away from the coach park unseen by the police.  Thankfully they didnt speak to me. I think I had one more pint before going to the ground  to watch the game

Well yesterday I thought we played well and deserved the point.  And we nearly made it 3 points.  Now we have a two week break before our next league match.  So hopefully we will have some players back from injury

Yeah, I agree mate I also thought we played well and with having a few injuries to key players I think before kick off most of us would have been happy with a point, onwards and upwards pal.
