Food place you recommend everyone MUST try on their Patts trip

A few from my trips over the years…

Cart that sits outside destiny agogo 5-7pm it’s an older lady and does a great Pad Khapow Mo… found her as I like a beer in metro sports bar around that time. Very tasty and about 70/80b.

Bake and Brew as folk are saying, high season can struggle for a seat.

Mom cafe top of Soi 15 breakfast time again.

Don Pepe great if a few of you, very decent tapas and wine isn’t over priced.

Beefeaters for a steak or Saturday afternoon buffet.

Nida bar just across from Marquee on the corner, I didn’t even think the place done food and had never drank in it even being nearest place to my hotel(D Hotel). Was Thai girl who said Thai food is good, and I can confirm it is. Not someplace I would sit in long term but perfect for a cold beer and a plate of Thai food.

Prime burger for well a burger 😂 but Hanger Pangs isn’t a bad 2nd.

Thai big place top of Pothole on 3rd road right hand side.. Very big menu and always Thai folk in iT which is a good sign. Food is spot on.

As usual hardly any Thai food recommendations (well beside two or three).

Remember having a discussion with @George1234 who claimed there was no good Thai food in Pattaya as the local Thai people just don't eat or something (not sure but he kept posting things like 'Illustrating my point - again' and so on when I said there is plenty but he is known for regurgitating platitudes so who knows who told him what to think that day).

MIni bar @ soi Lengkee (behind the family mart on junction with Buakhao) has some great hamburgers & hotdogs at fair prices. AND really good Belgian fries and typical "dutch" snacks aswell.

Two dishes you need to try is pork noodle soup and the crispy pork with kale.. egg on top. Both very delicious.

You can find them all over the place but one on second rd nearly opposite Soi 6 I visited nearly every day.

Funny people we farangs. 

First Thai food mentioned was at bottom of page one.  Yes I recommend Thai food, but not knowing if you like curry, or soups, or rice dishes, it is difficult to answer. 

For me one of the fun things about living here is trying new Thai restaurants and vendors.  Buakhao has several in a food court just beside Amazon coffee, before Witherspoons, food court at Terminal 21 for basic Thai foods,  Small shops where you see other Thai people eating is the easiest way to vet . Etc..

Yes to this street vendor, on east side of Buakhao right at the corner of Pattaya Tai, or South Pattaya road.

After reading the thread I tried Bake N Brew and the coffee was hands down the best I’ve had in Pattaya. Very good americano. I think the American breakfast was good but I wasn’t crazy about the potatoes. Will repeat!

I went to cheap Charlie this morning. A friend told me to give it another try after my disappointment from last year... Omg, nothing has taste... Coffee is black water, bacon and sausage melt fat. I stayed 5 minutes and right away to B&B for a good Americano... Actually 3 of them... Only regret in this place is staff friendliness. Non-existent... 

I thought it was because I'm a farang the previous years, but seems to be the same with everyone I know. 

Anyway. Good coffee ☕ 🙏🏻

Went once to CC. Left before ordering as the service lady told me that it took too long to order. So, I thanked her and left. Went to Hungry Hippo where everything was as per expectations.

Haha now thats a way to get the morning started! I indulged in a latte yesterday before leaving and it was equally amazing! I found the service to be pretty solid and got a lot of smiles so maybe you caught them at a bad time. Thanks  for those who recommend this spot!

I go there for a couple years now, and lot of friends have same feelings. To be employees staff are always nice and smile, but owners aren't friendly at all. IMHO of course.

One of the reasons I go for breakfast buffets for early lunch is the refill of coffees ; self serve or otherwise. Anyone know places with ala carte breakfast or early lunch with unlimited coffees?

My go to place sadly are missing after Covid.  These are usually my drink snacks that double as dinner! The siew mai cart especially has not been seen. Ive seen only the roast pig guy once.  The jok place near the temple with her trays and trays of pork and pork parts has also not been sighted.

This week I had breakfast in the Marriot hotel. Excellent selection of all types of food and coffee was unlimited. Service staff friendly and professional. 

The deal is here is that the first person pays 499 baht and the second 1 baht. So in total 500 baht for two persons.

I only have one establishment that I 100 percent always return to on every visit. The Pattaya Beer Garden. Ok food at reasonable prices. The vibes and the views make me feel so alive. So happy!
