I was in Robin's Nest on Soi Diana today for lunch. When paying the bill I chatted with one of the owners, the Thai man. He said tomorrow, Thursday, is the last day the restaurant would be open.

the last few weeks there has been work going on next to witherspoons beach road by pattaya klang as i had suspected all of these places are linked witherspoons, senor taco and germ

For those who enjoy hotpot or enjoy seeing your girl enjoy it ...there is a newish MK-style place open ... well actually for sometime now. I am not in thailand thus cant do a review or take any pics .......... this place if they follow the same concept as in  other countries , will up the game for all the resturants as they have performers stretching your handmade noodles as well as menicures pedicures snacks while you (more importanly her 😉) wait for a free table.

Anyone can go have a look see for the benefit of the foodies?

Good news for the landlords as a big name coming in for a unit there…the Thais love KFC too.

I wonder how the Texas Fried Chicken is doing now on Patt Tai?? As sposed be better then KFC…according to quite a few BMs on here.

maybe thats why ; with the current biz climate , Tsunami moved out of the area? Or is the place you mentioned Tsunami?

My preferred place for a fried chicken dinner was Texas Fried Chicken at Central Marina because I could get mashed potatos. The last time I was in town it was closed so I went to KFC. The one(s) at Central Festival didn't have sugar free soda (I'm diabetic) so I ended up going to KFC at Central Marina or Terminal 21. The KFC at X-Zyte will be a shorter walk from my usual hotel though I may, when I'm down south, try out the Texas place on Pattaya Tai.

yep. there are more "restaurants" around now than you can shake a sticky stick at. here are few real places

buakaow. the sports lounge,  used to be chunkey monkey now open for trade as a restaurant sports bar and i think rooms to rent upstairs (entrance right side by dragon bar). harpie bar staff to lure in customers !!!

Wow. They had a few places combined into that strip including the senoir taco place that didn't last on buakau.

iBar Restaurant has been open. I saw it with my own eyes late last night. Great looking sidewalk sale this morning at 1 a.m. Tons of slutty girls leaving and heading down Walking Street. I walked by it the first time and missed it as the old signage is coverage up with black tarps. Too bad I had already found a FL at 808 Club Restaurant.

cafe Amazon on the left was in a small portacabin type place with limited room. that is now shut and they have moved into bigger premies right next door. i think it used to be a bank

Tigglebitties closed down for a week.

We will be closed for 1 week. Reopen on Thursday 13, January  8:00 a.m.

 

My girl is "different". A different one everyday.

On Soi 1, I think I am correct in thinking this is where Somsaks was?

Did not know it had closed.

I guess Khun Somsak must have been close to retirement anyway.
