couple of bits

first an expanded photo of royal garden plaza taco bell site. it's been a few things last one was i think a japanese place

ok got it. it was japanese opened about june 2020 but covid has done for it. no japanese tourists ! before that it was Saras an indian veg place

 

move over golf club and make way for Mint

Witherspoons reported to be moving 475 mtrs north along buakaow and right now i can't think where that will be

another McDoners buakaow by the R-Con blue hotel. not quite sure if it's open, or if there is enough foot traffic

BM goodtimes only found the site yesterday. near the S bend and R -Con hotel  on buakaow

the only change so far  at the new site is an encouraging sign..............

and the old site it's completely clear behind those shutters. time for the local estate agent to find a hopeful client,.........

opened for dine in today.(like many other restaurants around town as covid restrictions are eased a little bit)

yet another "cannabis" place. this time junction of lengkee / buakaow. replacing a very long running kebab stall

i hope the presence of these places does not lull newbies into thinking smoking the stuff is now ok, cos it's not

buakaow end of skaw beach/tree town for any yodelers out there opening tomorrow

casualty on buakaow between lkmetro and soi honey as the relatively new Blue Cafe is no more

beach rd between klang and soi 7. too early to tell if this is a clearout or a refit but this place has been here since i guess 1999

and finally back to buakaow near holiday inn express.............

what was Nice Diner (a period style burger bar)  is now gutted. too early to guess what is coming next

ok. i posted Blue Cafe on buakaow as a covid casualty. i have just been informed they are open again in soi 21 off buakaow /3rd road  (same soi as PP massage and Adelphi hotel). i will get a photo in due course.

my asset says run by a brit from leicester

another steak/bbq place. replacing steak & co which moved next door with smoking joe's. before that it was china garden

on buakaow very near action st .............

it's been a series of short lived bars and restaurants too numerous to recall

In the first photo, the restaurant with Woodstock in the name came from a summer concert in the summer of 1969 in the state of New York.  It lasted 3 days with many top artists including Credence, The Who, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix.

You reminded me that I have Woodstock - the director's cut - on a two disk DVD.  Worth a spin again, but bugga, it's 3hr35 long...
