My bad, its called the Hopf Brew House

and its not an Italian restaurant - more like a European place. But I noticed most people ordered the pizza which was excellent. Anyway it was a really good when I was there.

Isn’t Italy in Europe any longer?

I’m not aware of an Itexit.

And the name has never been Hopf.

Only, some people have confused a long s with an f.

I don’t know what it is, but IMO it’s neither German, nor Italian.

I very rarely eat pizza, and invariably regret it when I do.

Most recommendations I’ve heard for Pan Pan have been for pizza, and from Americans.

It could well be that the place is good if you eat a certain type of pizza. I’m generally looking for good pasta & salad in an Italian, maybe fish. I won’t be going there again after my experience.

I’ve always wondered why people associate Italian food with pizze (plural of pizza).

Must be yankees.

And for me, I only eat spaghetti (plural of spaghetto) as a side dish, with ground parmigiano only.

As a side-dish to what? :question1:

Contorno con il secondo piatto.

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

pizza

I thought a pizza was just a snack, and an unhealthy one, not a dish.

Volaire in Soi Bukaho has nice food. Not sure what it is like compared to other Italian restaurants in Pattaya as I have not eaten in that many. But the food and coffee is always good there

LaMerenda in Jomtien has a loyal following.

The friendly owner here is very serious about his food.

Jomtien 2nd Rd. Open evenings.

(about 100 meters south of Soi 7, next to the beer distributer)

Yeah, sure, as "serious" as a microwave oven.

They do have some of the strangest pizza I've ever had though.

Just the other day I had the homemade tagliatelle noodles with homemade pesto served with his homemade bread.

One of the best meals I have had in my life.

Yep, really weird pizzas if you can call that a pizza. No worries. Plenty of other places to get good pizza in town.

There is a smal Italian Taverna in a smal soi to Buakaw, it have fantastic food.

If you come from soi diana on Buakaw, just walk 150m south, and when you see the motorbike shop on the right side, turn right in to the soi, its in the end of the soi, maybe 100m
