What I don't get it's 350mb when you download, but when the self extract runs it says it' 30mb

I'v just managed to download it onto another PC here at work.  It did stop then I had to resume downloading.

It then extracted fine, but I'm thinking that the server I'm renting with unlimited bandwidth is causing an issue.

I'll sign up to another dropbox and use that until I can sort this out.

Thanks guys, yes having a .exe is a pain in the b*tt, but I will work on that.

& yes swinga you was spot on about the fileserver.  Google blocked me in a day, and the dropboxes only last a couple of days.

so looking into a commercial solution.

 

I'm testing the android App now, which will configure any android device with all the software loaded.

Ive got a beta version of an Android Installer now to save all that dogging around.

 

The app downloads & installs XBMC & my profile so it should be ready to go: http://xbdroid.com/Android-APP

 

Works on phones/tablets/android set top boxes etc, but you will need to make sure you tick the box in your settings to accept downloads from unknown sources other than google Apps.

I'll include some info on that.

 

Any feedback is always appreciated.

I have Mega as I need a large cloud storage place and they give you 50gbs free good site but a bit slow. We give this a try on my tablet later

Try going back in. it takes a moment to extract the zip. 

It did the same with me but I went back in and it was there.

did it install to android/data/  ?

Thanks, the app is still pointing to the dodgy server so struggles downloading a zip that it uses to unpack into that directory.

 

working on it :)
