Club Insomnia Pattaya attack victim denied police help

Well, I don't know Insomnia's owners, or staff, ot the OP, but whenever I've been there (about 20 times in 6 months) it was a safe plance, never any irregulaties that I could see (except too much booze, LOL).

 

The OP's story may be true, but I for one have too many questions about it. Sounds like a hoax.

i will discuss this post with security tonight as i was in the club from opening until 4 am and didnt see or hear of such an event taking place, and from my vantage point i can see all the club and did not witness the event in question, plus i have a member of security on a radio link stood next to me all night, which i can verify was not alerted to such an event last night during my time there, and they are alerted to any and all incidents.

 

i am not saying at this minute in time that the event did not take place, but we do try to ensure the safety of all our customers regardless of age, sexuality(cough!), or gender. Our security are members of Thai police, army and navy and take their jobs very seriously, as has been correctly stated here raththey do thier job with a smile er than a scowl.

 

So i will investigate and speak with the head of security tonight and post back a reply tomorrow.

 

...the 2 security guards throwing the oldie out of Insomnia are doing something else but smiling ...on the photos I've seen.

 

...if allowed I'll get hold of these photos and post them in here.

I am NOT defending or accusing anybody........but i do think that you should make up your mind, since you further down in the tread states on a question if you was there and witnesses the whole thing with the word:

Was it in fact you that was the witness or was it a mate????

And how come that you or your "mate" was just standing next to the assult both inside and outside of the place???

And why the hell did you not show some currage and get between the whole thing if it was so "bad"????

...inside Insomnia was only one headkick by the german accent speaking guy ...followed by threats from him ...as the securty or someone hold him back untill he calmed down a little ...so there was no question about help or not.

 

after the security came ...I thought it to be safer not to interfere ...and I was not thrown out as the victim & attacker.

First of all let me start out by saying I am a avid fan of the Club, so I might be a bit bias but I believe if you were there with your friends and witness all this. I would have stepped in outside and said or did something to stop this abuse on an elderly man. Remind me never to hang out with you.

Also what did the police say after you gave them the photos and picture of the so called German Man?

Also where are the pictures of the attack you supposedly witnessed?

 

As many other member have stated here, do not post items which are detrimental to a business without the proper documentation to support your claims.

the photographer (ie old man) was pestering another mans girl, and subsequently took a photo of this guys girlfriend, in plain view of the boyfriend which this guy took exception to, and a smack was administered, upon which they were both escorted off the premesis, where i understand a further altercation took place.

 

the old man was deemed to be the instigator of this altercation and it was only when they both wouldnt put the matter to rest that they were both escorted off the premises.

 

what happened after the pair were escorted off the premises is no responsibility of the club.

 

the guy, as you stated was able to leave the club and take further photos outside, at no time did security say the man asked for or was refused first aid assistance from them.

 

he was, as you stated, well enough to take further photos and argue with the man in question upon leaving the club, perhaps his need for first aid was not so apparent.

 

Insomnia take the safety and security of patrons and the club very seriously, but we cannot be responsible for actions of individuals. self restraint and diplomacy should be packed in your suitcase as well as condoms when visiting thailand.

...it so happens that i've seen all the photos taken ...and your/security story is wrong ...camera was used after the headbutt ...and photos only taken of attacker & security. This is easy to proof ...the photos are still in the chip with a date & timing ...and it can be seen in which order they were taken and who's on them.

Why try to pick on us for having an oppinion on your story, your mate should not of taken photos inside of the club for starters a big no no. and if you took photos of me or my bird i''d feel the same way as the german bloke, sounds like he got of light if you ask me and your story keeps changing. Sorry not buying it, security are well sorted in Insomnia, I know this because I test their patience on a regular basis, they laugh at me and say "fuck off home u muaw" then throw a hooker at me.... at least thats the way I remember it...I think critique should once again be aimed at the shoddy management/ DJ combo of this establishment for not clearly stating a policy of no wrinklies and no one speaking in a German accent unless it can be proven they are German.

 

Although I have not yet been to Mixx I feel sure that their "could not give a fuck attitude" would not tolerate German impersonators, old people or anyone else for that matter.

First off I have never even been to Pattaya yet so I am truly unbiased.

 

To be honest I'm not sure if this guy specifically has an ax to grind with the club - I think he is a friend of a guy who got his as* kicked by a drunk guy in pattaya. Is this new - no - when you mix alcohol and hookers...this will lead to jealosy.

 

To me it sounds like this mate of yours probably made some advances to this girl and when shot down tried to continue without realizing the girls "customer" was there. When the "steriod" guy got pissed he probably did cross the line.

I'm sorry but at this point you don't ask for the cops...you just leave! End of story. You don't antagonize the person by snapping photos of them. It's just common sense man. In your original account your friend didn't start taking photos until he was out of the club...From the sound of it now he was taking photos of the security guys etc. I'm sorry but if I was working security and someone was snapping photos of me I would be pissed off also. To be honest it sounds like your friend got off fairly light with a couple of bruises and a story to tell.

 

In my opinion the security did the same job they would in any country and that is to get the people in the fight OFF OF THE PROPERTY! That is not a knock on the Insomnia security...it is what their job is...and that is not only to protect the people in the club; it is to protect the club from getting sued. Is it right - no - but you would get the same treatment anywhere else in the world.

That is not a knock on the insomnia security...it is what their job is...and that is not only to protect the people in the club; it is to protect the club from getting sued.
