anyone have a good papaya dish please share.

Som tam Thai, comes without the smashed crab and the taste of licking the deck of a fishing trawler.

Pad Thai and Penang curry are my favorite.

Gaeng Fuk Tong Kap Khao or Pad Fuk Tong

Pumpkin Curry or Stir Fried Pumpkin

Tastes great, and especially fun to order at home to observe the reactions of the other restaurant patrons when you say 'FUCK' in the nice restaurant.

I'm a big fan of som tam.  I make it here in Melbourne when I can get the green papaya....I even try to go a little bit "village" by cutting the papaya with my biggest kitchen knife thai style outside with our chickens squabbling for the bits that miss my bowl.

DIY lets me tailor the heat.

You should definitely go with the mango-sticky-rice as a dessert ;)

Green papaya pad thai is excellent, but I think Bangkok has better food options than Pattaya. Not to be a cliche, but the best pad thai I've ever had was on Khao San Road.
