What utter stupidity, the fridge off every time you leave the room. So you come to your room and it's hot outside, and you can't get a cold drink????

 

You have to take the tag off the keyring, what nonsense, this guesthouse is of my list because of this.

There are some bargains in that soi currently. You're looking at 450 a night and Retox has just opened offering 600 a night including breakfast.

First visit to Pattaya I stayed at the Bett Pattaya hotel - a hostel with individual rooms for rent. It's on Pattayasaisong Road between Soi 4 and 5. For the weekend it was 1800 Baht ($57 US). Clean, quiet, great location - the only downside was the monstrous staircase to get to the 2nd floor. Great cheap stay!

i don't think it's still trading. not 100 % sure and right now i'm not in pattaya to go and look. somebody else must be on the ground and able to answer
