  • NY Pizza (3rd Rd)
  • Hopf
  • Munches

I agree with the New York comments, and would like to add that Pizza hut IS garbage and it is so cliche/touristy/franchise. The BEST though is at a place called Little Italy on second road, near to Soi 12 area if I remember. Will not eat pizza anywhere else now that I fond it.

100% correct , you must have good taste in pizza :LOL2:

I tried the Pizza in Little Italy just now. Not so good. Toppings and taste ok, but the dough terribly wrong and soft. Can not compare to Munchies.

Other meals seemed to be better and I was really surprised to see Olive Ascolane on the menu. The guy must be from somewhere close to Ascoli Piceno.

Just tried a mozzarella + tomato + smoked ham pizza at Little Italy. (2nd road, just across the road from the Royal Garden Plaza mall). It was actually quite nice, for Pattaya standards.

Pro:

  • Unlike 80% of other pizzas in Pattaya I have tried, it was actually well seasoned!
  • Plenty of mozzarella cheese
  • Nice crust
  • Nice service

Con:

  • The base was soft.

The pizza base was roughly 7 mm thick, with another 3-4 mm of toppings on top. Total cost with can of coke: 300 THB.

I think I will return later to try some other toppings.

In total, I rate this 3.5 out of 5. Perhaps this is how good it gets in Pattaya?

I ate at pizza pizza in the avenues shopping area a couple of times last trip and it was decent. Fresh, crisp crust, decent sauce/toppings and better then I expected. A bit pricy for what you are getting, but reasonable considering the location and being geared towards tourists. All in all you could do a lot worse.

The thing I know, is that the best Italian restaurant in Pattaya does not make pizza...!!!

Do you mean the pasta place on Thrappaya Road?

No, the "Italian Taverna" (or something like this, but for sure says "Taverna") after 18 coins Soi BuaKhao, on your right you will see a motobike shop on the corner. You go in that street that is a dead end street. You will see it on your right.

I do like the thin crust they have there, cooked just to my liking crispy but also chewy.

What I didn't like was the sausage, not sure if that is "authentic" Neopolitan style sausage but just didn't like the taste of it. The cheese was also had a bit of an off, bitter after taste to it.

Prig Kraprao Pizza

Thappraya road

open 0400h - 1200h

Tel. 0810048898

Delivery service 50THB

Best pizza at best prices. I have checked them all; i still got nightmare dreams from Nick the "Pizza"...

Pizza #1 and #2 taste not very usual, "pizza prig krapao moo" (150THB) and "pizza panang kai" (160THB)

not everybodys taste, so better order additionally a Diavolo (180THB), to be on safe side...

Recently I had a pizza at Casa Rizzi.

It was pizza Tuna , I think on the menu it's called Mama Mia, for 220 Baht (sorry no pic this time)

The pizza tasted good and I liked also the thin crust base.

Location is on on 3rd road near the flyover crossing to Bali Hai Pier; on 3rd road coming from Pattaya Tai / Tony Gym (2 there on both sides of the road) look for the sign for Miracle Suite, it's just after that on the right side.

Seating is outside (under roof) or inside (aircon), when I was there also a group of Italian friends (men) were sitting/standing/walking/drinking/smoking/talking/shouting outside in their typical Mediterranean style, a good sign for the authenticity of the place !

And no ..I don't have shares or any business interest or benefits from this place :Finger5:

Cheers

As mentioned before, La Bocca in Jomtien.

Further afield, if anyone is out in Chiang Mai - La Villa Pizzeria, probably THE best pizza I have ever had. Wow. Outdoor wood fired pizza oven, lovely outdoor terrace.
