I've stayed at the PBR 3 times and its still one of the best deals (low season, standard room). If im looking for a place in low season again it would be a strong choice, but high season i think its too pricey for the standard of room.

Great hotel and nice breakfast for you and your guest. My only complaint is the pool closes at 6:30 for now atlest. I enjoy a nice swim at dark before I shower and go out.

nice clean hotel BUT.. the free internet is HOPELESS (I am on the 2nd floor) - keeps cutting out ever 15 minutes, SLOWER than my 56kbps modem 10 yrs ago. CANNOT d/load email attachments because its soo slow

 

the staff at the front door is a bit 'whatever' and not as nice (and defo not the flirtatious type I have had at other hotels in Pattaya)

 

gym is just basic equipment

 

room does not have any extras who are staying a LONG time (e.g. DVD/mp3 player, microwave - you can rent at 50 THB / day; kettle and ironing board (free with 500THB deposit))

 

LOCATION IS GREAT (I think)

Really? I found the staff to be very nice!! The girls are there to work, not play, so don't expect anything more than for them to do their jobs.

 

Your computer should serve as your MP3/DVD player and movies can be baught cheap on the street.

 

Microwave? For what? Food is everywhere and there is a 7/11 just 5 minutes from the hotel.
