room with kitchen in PATTAYA?

Some of Dancewatchers View Talay condos have kitchens. I stayed in View Talay 2 in Jomtien, which is ideally situated. 15000B for 1 month or 1000B per day I believe.

Also, I've just spent a very enjoyable week at Pars Place:

http://www.pars-place.com/

The owner Bernie is a top guy & will look after you. The rooms have a kitchenette of sorts, with a sink for washing up & microwave LOL. There are tons of street carts at the end of the road + 711 nearby.

Downstairs is a bar / restaurant (no BGs) with cheap drinks & a free pool table. Bernie does a mean English breakfast & his burgers are home-made.

The location is great, only a 5 minute baht bus to WS & a 5 minute walk to Soi Bauckow. There is also the Gold Exchange on Soi Rungland nearby, which gives the best cash rate in Pattaya & a wholesalers where you can buy cheap cigarettes, booze & soft drinks at a considerable saving.

No swimming pool, but you can use LK Pavillion's pool, which is literally opposite, for 50B per day. The drinks there are also reasonably priced - 50B Tiger & 15B for a can of Coke.

Thanks for the review :001_Thank_You5:

is pars place multiple guest friendly?

and about talay is it close to the ocean? also do they have hidden charges or 1500-1000 bahts is the final payment?

:001_Thank_You5:

Yes Pars is MGF, like most guesthouses. View Talay is more like renting your own apartment in the west, although they do have an office on the ground floor.

View Talay 2(A) is a 5 min walk to Jomtien Beach, or a 1 minute 10B baht bus ride.

Also consider Canterburys. I've stayed before & Dave is a top notch guy; his new rooms w/kitchen look especially tempting. :GoldenSmile1:

I've stayed at all 3 & can attest to veracity of the room pictures on their respective sites; of course, the pictures always show the rooms in the best light.

The rooms at Canterbury's are more functional than stylish, which is reflected in the price. I stayed in room 12 in the main (oldest) building above the bookshop. The room was very clean & mosquito free, with all the benefits of a guesthouse (vs. hotel) - personal service, large fridge, TV + DVD, in room safe, free WI-FI etc. The rooms in the C building look to be newly refurbished so more 'stylish' if you like + a kitchen.

You can look at Dancewatcher's 'budget' condos here. I stayed in room 4-179:

http://dancewatchers.com/Budget_rooms_for_rent_View_Talay_2A.html

Budget is a bit of an understatement as I would class these rooms as luxury, although they're ~1000B per night, as they have a lot of nice touches - 4 pillows + 2 reading pillows, everything you could want in the kitchen (except a potato masher, which I brought myself), standalone fan, large LCD TV etc.

They don't have a price for every room though, so you may have to email them for a quote.

Pars Place has a very comprehensive website & I can't add much more to what I've already said. Highly recommended for 700B all inclusive!

jasmine hotel is best for kitchen and they are very BG friendly+near to walking streets.Cheapest 1

I have a lot of Indian friends in Sydney so this is not meant to be an offensive cocomment, but if an Indian says that Jasmine hotel is the cheapest BG friendly hotel near Walking Street with a kitchen, then I am almost certain to beleve that without question.

I wasn't aware that they applied the cleaning charges for the daily rate. I guess they're targeting long term customers. Seems a shame as the condos are really nice & they don't cream off the top on electricity charges (my bill after 1 month was 1400 / 100 for power / water). Seems like VT2 would be an expensive option for your budget stay!

Also, you would have to prepay the charges & I lost ~600B on the £-$-B conversion, plus you pay via PayPal so there are some extra charges there.

Dave @ Canterburys requires a 2000B deposit through PayPal also to secure the room, but that shouldn't be too much of a hit.

Bernie @ Pars Place doesn't require a deposit, so may be the best choice for you.

They do seem to get very busy now.

I tried to extend my stay in January for 2 days with them but they had booked all rooms.

are they busy in low season too??

No idea about low season. Have only stayed there once.

As long as you book in advance, i doubt u'd have any problem getting a room.
