How do you make a living online?

TheLostShark

Recommended Posts

Dont get me wrong, I do not ask for blue prints but I always find it interesting how other people make their living online.

I myself make my living in the adult dating business. My business partner here in Pattaya does the coding and I do the marketing and design work.

How do you make a living online (or try)?

One way is with blogging (about interesting stuff) and using Google Adsense and promoting Amazon.com

I am a designer and I plan to send out a ton of emails and create landing pages with good SEO, targeting various regions with my services.

You can look at any blog to get an idea of what to do.

Here's an adsense driven example:

And here's a site with useful information + you can click an article then click everybody's name to see their own sites.

Making a living online is always about multiple revenue streams, I do:

35% - Youtube Videos as well as contribute to about 10 other video streaming sites, all of them pay per view of 50% of the video or longer

15% - A few adult blogs and sites that have download revenue and ad revenue

10% - Re-selling online game items/accounts (This is more part time)

40% - SEO, Social Marketing, web design, consulting....pretty much the online aspect of my offline business makes up close to half

The online revenue streams aside from the online part of my business I probably could make a living from if I lived more modestly and cut back but it does well as an added revenue.

I am an avid Youtube watcher and have made a few videos myself in the past for youtube.

Care you share your youtube page? Would be interested to see what you do on there....I'll even click on an add or two for you. :)

I set up a site about 5 month ago to sell a single item, all I added was one page, an adsense ad banner, and a PayPal button,

The only thing I did was set up a Facebook page, and link to the site.

It was getting about 1 like a week, and 10 impressions to the site

I got side tracked working on other stuff....

I've just checked adsense account and it has been making £5 a month for the past 3 months

The Facebook page now has 100 likes,

It has restored my faith in making something of this..

Here is a "How to make money online blog" http://nettgrunder.com/

Website about cars: http://www.biltips.net/

And i just started a "travelblog" about Pattaya :-) http://pattayabloggen.com/

All sites in Norwegian language btw...

I am prostituting myself online. I sell my time to people who need to pass an english exam and after they pass it, I support them to go abroad and study by editing their essays etc. It's working well as I can provide lots of value, I have a strong background for this and I am only charging $30 USD per hour for my time. Lots of referrals are coming and lots of praise from the people I have helped. This has started off as a part-time actiivity, but it seems about ready to go full-time.

This version of me will not stay the same, tomorrow I will be different.

Mostly just by blogging and other SEO services, but I've started up my own affiliate sites and they're slowly earning money. I'm also moving into more actual website design and coding work as that pays a lot more.

I've recently started promoting CB products via Blogspot. I'll see how it turns out...

clickbank good idea. blogspot bad idea.

what if you start making $500 a month from this site? and blogspot shut it down? or what if you want to sell it at some point?

invest ina domain that way you are building value and keeping control

I have several Adsense websites in a variety of niches that bring in the majority of my income. In addition, I run a few clickbank websites and an arbitrage SEO services website. All traffic is organic search engine traffic.
