Why can't I see any pictures?

Are we still having the international problem with viewing the pictures????

 

I still cannot see any and half the avatars.

 

Reason why i ask someone just replied his avatar looks like she is 12??

 

I am still having a lot of problems also.

I actually saw the Avatar you are talking about I think.

I did reply on a topic to someone about it.

It's actually the asian porn star Amai Liu....Definately over age.

I'm afraid it seems to be an intermittent problem at the moment, sometimes no pics/avatars, then some pics showing, then nothing again. I'd imagine LaaMok is tearing his hair out trying to sort this issue, if indeed it's within the parameters of his control and not an external error or attack that's the problem. There's already a thread running about this topic (in fact, it's 2 threads merged into one), so you can check for updates or make comments here.

In the DNS records, media.pattaya-addicts.com has 2 IP adresses :

 

media.pattaya-addicts.com. A 3600 93.189.106.210

media.pattaya-addicts.com. A 3600 93.189.106.209

 

 

It looks like 93.189.106.210 does not work anymore

 

BUT, 93.189.106.209 still works for me.

So, here is my work arround, in my hosts file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts), I add the following line to resolve only 1 IP :

 

93.189.106.209 media.pattaya-addicts.com

 

 

 

I don't know if it will work for everyone, but you can try ;)

Pictures still seem to be alternately there and then not, however just in case it's relevant I'm finding that if I go into a Forum and select the 'attachments' (the paper-clip next to the topic in the forum list) I can view the pic's individually even if they won't show up in the posts.

Same here on the west coast of the US through Comcast. Some avatars show so do not. Some pics show some do not. Refreshing seems to have little if any effect. My brain needs a little distraction between all the bantering texts. ;)

But, maybe if everything in 93.189.106.210 were added to 93.189.106.209, and then we got rid of 93.189.106.210

 

I don't know.... I'm certainly no expert. But maybe the experts on here will be able to do something with your clue.

 

I hope this can be resolved, soon. It's certainly getting frustrating!

Thanks, very, very much, alex! Now I remember that little trick, but I had forgotten about the "right click - run as admin" thing.

 

Using that, I was able to make the modification, and everything seems to be working (so far).
