Baboona Serviced Appartments

It isn't a serviced apartment. Apartments have kitchen areas. They are just slightly overpriced hotel rooms.

Only their low season prices, from mid June until the end of October and the days leading up to Songkhran in April, are reasonable.

If you'd like a reasonably priced place sea view with balcony, there is;

Imperial Residence, on the Beach Road at Soi 10. There aren't many rooms closer to the beach than the beachfront rooms here.

There are individual electronic safes in the rooms. Balconies.

Bathtubs in the bathrooms for those who like them. Shower above the bath.

It's still all shiny and new.

The Superior(side views) rooms are 1200 baht. The ones on the seafront are 1500 baht.

They haven't forwarded me an email address as of yet.

Gentlemen,

Sorry for the tardiness in my reply. I said i would provide a bit of info on this place after my return, but got a bit tied up with college work. Anyway here it is.

Very handy location on beach road on the corner of soi 4

No in-room safe, although there was a safe at the reception

Absolutely no Joiner fee and no hassles when taking lady(s) back to the room

Staff were very friendly at any time of day or night

Rooms were clean but I would recommend that anyone that stays here books a seaview room as these contain a larger bed, a dvd player and a really nice telly

Normal telly in standard rooms

The only fault that i could find with this place was that they were doing some major renovations on the floor that I was staying. After mentioning the noise to the staff they promptly moved me to another room.

I will stay again this July on my return

Those aren't their quoted rates. http://www.baboonabeach.com/rates_low1_rack.html

Where did you get the cheaper rates? Walk in?

Hi JJs,

I booked through sawasdee.com at those rates prior to my last trip.

From the looks of this http://www.sawadee.com/hotel/pattaya/baboona/ their prices have gone up!

Hi, I stayed here 3 nights-the place looks nice, but one of the doormen started talking to the girl-telling him of my other recreational activities...the girl didn't mind as told her.. butterfly..but it :) the housekeeping kept me waiting as I asked them to make up the room about noon..wanting to get some sleep --jet lag--they said be right there. NOT right there...about 4pm. showed up and banged on the door..and my do not disturb sign up. finally sleeping..petty stuff.. maybe, but I need rest before the long night..jet lag..from around... the planet..to have energy...for long nights... :):07::):Oi1::Oi1::Oi1:
