Can i enter in restaraunt or cinema with my own drinks?

In the usa i can tell you that they can search your bag and refuse to serve you for almost any reason. As long as the rules apply to everyone not discrimination. To enter my business is a privilege not your right. I can tell you in thailand they can also refuse you entry because of discrimination.

Seriously, let me tell you how this whole thing works in Thailand.

 

Assume this is true:

 

You are not Thai, you are Farang. You don't speak much of the language, if any, and you're a tourist.

 

Ok? Got that?

 

You have no rights.

 

If someone doesn't want you to do something, you should respect that, especially on their property or in their business. If you don't show that minimum of respect and start trying to enforce your imagined civil and personal rights, in their country, culture, and faces you're likely to get the shit kicked out of you, and/or get arrested for 'creating a disturbance.'

 

Sure you might finally get some satisfaction after spending a week or two in jail or the hospital, you'll probably even end up on the news...but the only happy ending you'll get from attempting this kind of behavior will be on Somchai's giving end, in an overcrowded and dirty cell.

 

I say in my FAQ to "leave your ego at customs," and it applies here.
